Does anyone else feel this is wrong?

I have tried almost every slider set out there. But I want to know what you all think.

I dont think any global slider should change animations in the game. Has anyone else noticed this? If you put the ballhandling too low. Then all of a sudden your pg cant do a behind the back dribble. I mean come on almost every pg if not every pg in the nba can do a behind the back dribble.

Or if you put blocks too low. You lose the block animation where the guy hits the ball up against the backboard.

Animations should be player specific. Or the player ratings should control what animations the players are able to do. There is no reason a global slider should add or take away animations during the game.

Can anyone give me some insight on why the game is done this way? And does anyone else feel this is wrong?

Re: Does anyone else feel this is wrong?

So your saying the animations still happen just not with every player? If so thats still bad in my opinion.

Global sliders should not dictate if an animation happens or not. That should be all under a players sliders and packages. It happens with fouls, steals, blocks, and ballhandling.

I think the game is the greatest b-ball game out to date. I believe if they could tighten what effect the global and player sliders have over the game. It would make it that much better.

Maybe have a little caption that shows up when you pick a slider showing with exactly that slider does. But above all dont let sliders hide or reveal different animations during the game.

Re: Does anyone else feel this is wrong?

all the ATTRIBUTE sliders does is just lower the scale of the players ratings, for example if I set ball handling to 0, that guy who have a 99 for ball handling rating may feel like he has a 80 instead....those animations is tied into ratings instead of the player, just like with madden and the juke moves

I feel wat you saying tho....

Re: Does anyone else feel this is wrong?

I believe the global attribute sliders that are the same as some of the players sliders should not be in global. Meaning let the player's attribute sliders dictate everything that player can and cant do. I think it hinders the player attributes all together. Or skews it at least.

If a player has a 90 ballhandling attribute. Then he can do most moves. And if another player has 60 then he cant. I think that would make the game a lot more simple and also it would make it easier for the slider gurus to adjust things a bit.

I have sat down with the sliders for about 2 weeks and it gets to be a bit confusing and frustrating at times. But when I found out certain sliders take away certain animations. I was like now that is just silly and wrong. Maybe someone else agrees with me about this. And maybe we can get this changed in the next game.

I agree with this. I hate that with the ball handling lowered I cant go around the back with fisher just because of that. I would much rather that be dealt with in their tendencies.

Re: Does anyone else feel this is wrong?

Guess there are only a few people that think this is mistake with the global sliders removing or adding animations.
