Using Xbox 360 controller (default control)

Hop Step - Tap [X] while moving
Hop Step Back - Tap [X] and hold Left Stick away from basket
Hop Step Spin - While holding Turbo, tap [X] while moving

You can find these moves in the game manual. The controls are a bit different than the consoles.

I think it would run well at max settings on that machine.

If you buy it you should notify 2K. It's great marketing info to know that the game motivates people to purchase systems. That could lead to revenue from a deal with a PC maker, or even an OEM deal for the game.

Re: Official NBA 2k9 PC Thread

How can I create a new player in the pc version? All I can see in the menu is "edit player" and I don't want to replace any existing player in the game. Thanks for help!

"Games for Windows" games have no problem with the triggers. thats not an issue anymore. I think the guys at 2k shouldve looked into a real solution instead of just switching to a weird config.

Re: Official NBA 2k9 PC Thread

I really, really, wished 2k solved the problem and just used the xbox and ps controls, you can't play this game with a keyboard. Most people buying the pc version are the same people that played previous and current nba 2k, the controls are complicated enough without having to think what does what on the pc, you don't mess with the controls.

I do remember one other game that had problems with triggers: Assassisn Creed, it was a GFW and it didn't recognize the triggers at all because they are analog, you couldn't even map them. This problem shouldn't be hard to solve, all xbox360 games are developed on the pc after all, the best thing to do would be to use the excat same thing you did on the xbox.

Weak sauce....It is going to be mind numbing going from College Hoops 2k8 to NBA 2k9 PC back and forth....ugh!
