It's a small hassle at this point but as soon as the first texture importer or editor come along it will be easy as pie.

Re: PC controls

Hmm, do you guys in the know think that this rig would handle the game well? I've been considering doing a barebones build for a while now and this would be a good occasion: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...9441&CatId=333

Key Specs: NVIDIA GeForce 7100, Pentium D 940 3.2 GHz dual-core, 3 GB DDR2 RAM (PC 540, 667 MHz, 450W power supply, XFX MG-63MI-7109 Motherboard

I could always add a beefier video card later, but could I run this game at high (not ultra high) settings?

No, you wouldn't be able to play the game on high settings with your current setup.

Re: PC controls

Is this one any better? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...6598&CatId=333

What would be limiting its capabilities, the video card? Would something like this get me there? Sparkle GeForce 9500 GT Video Card - 512MB DDR2, PCI Express 2.0

If you are using a 360 controller, please note that the default control has the LT/RT and LB/RB swapped (compared to the console version). What this means is that Turbo is RB, Icon Pass is RT, etc.

The reason for this is that game controller configuration on the PC does not register LT and RT being held down at the same time. To work around this issue, we swapped the controls on the PC for the bumpers and triggers.

You can still do all of the Isomotion moves available on the console. For instance, to perform a spin move, simply hold down RB and move your Left Stick in a half-circle (on console it would be holding down RT and half-circle). Just a minor difference. Jab Steps can be performed by holding down LB/RB and jabbing with the Left Stick.

JSapida, will you guys treat the PC community just like the console community with patches and such?

Re: Official NBA 2k9 PC Thread

Hey guys I hear alot of complaining about a 19.99 game that has everything that the 360 has but online. If u guys take a little time with it other than complain u see that for this price it's a damm good port.even the 59.99 has it's problems.i'm not really a online sports game player so what i've seen so for is great for 19.99. and if u have a pc older than 2yrs old shame on you because those jordan ,lebron, kobe sneakers ect...... u spent for scuff marks your pc could handle this game and then some.

Is this a Windows issue, or an issue with your game?

I've also noticed when using the RB and LB buttons to do ISOmotion, the Jab step will work a couple of times, then it starts making me dribble.

And why, when you swap the triggers and bumpers does the Y and B buttons suddenly work for doing Jab steps? I can hold either one down and do a jab step when I swap the trigger and bumper controls.

It just seems like there are some bugs in this.

After reading the manual I found that the hop step is performed with the shoot button while in motion. I haven't tested how to do a hop spin, but I have seen it happen when attempting a hop step. It may be a combination of turbo and the left thumbstick in the direction you want to spin, but I am not sure.
