Re: PC controls

You do have to change the controls a bit if you want it to mimic the 360 version, but there seems to be no sizeup button on the PC unless I missed something. Without that button, there are several isomotion moves that cannot be done.

Re: PC controls

The only moves I can do is the jab step. With the default controls, I can press both bumpers and it works. If I switch those controls with the triggers, it doesn't work anymore, however, the Y or B buttons allow me to do a jab step if I hold one of those down. It's totally messed up. This pretty much renders the game unplayable for me at this time.

Re: Could I play the PC version of NBA 2K9 on this

it is not playable on my setup:

AMD Athlon 64 3500+ ClawHammer 2.2GHz
2 GB DDR2 Ram
GeForce 6800GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16

Even with everything turned down. Anyone want to buy my copy once I finish writing the PC editor?

Re: nba2k9 for laptop

I doubt it. CPU is extremely slow and GPU is just as bad.

PC Help

I posted this on the official 2k sports page but I figured can't hurt to put it here too.

I picked up NBA 2K9 today for PC. I loaded the game and menus were slow (but as I've read that's normal). Whenever I've tried to get in the games, I'm able to play for about 2 minutes. Then my sound starts to screech, it freezes, a blue screen appears (quickly, so I'm unable to write down the message), and then my PC reboots.

Any ideas on how I can fix it?

Re: PC Help

I had the same issue you have. I ended up taking the SoundBlaster Audigy 2 card out of my pc and using my onboard sound option. Since I did this, the game plays flawlessly. I am starting to wonder if all of the problems with this game can be traced to the sound.

I hope this helps you. Good luck finding your cure.
