EXPANSION TEAM MODE
This could easily be put into the Association mode where we choose to play as a current NBA team or New Expansion Team. Picking Expansion Team we can Create our Uniforms and Arena like in APF2K8. For create Arena we could have the options for the colors on the court and logo placement/size. After this we automatically get the 2nd overall draft pick and we pick the rest of our players from Free Agency and the 9-15 rotational players from each NBA team. After this everything is like a normal Association.

24/7 CAREER
Instead of how the old 24/7 mode was this would be a story mode like Sony's NBA Game. Here you are invited to Pre-Draft workouts and then drafted in the second round or possibly not at all depending on how you did. You then enter the Summer League and then the NBDL after the summer ends. You build your attributes by completing goals and once you get good enough called up to the NBA. You build your attributes up through practices and on how good you play through games. We would also have a story which path we choose when we pick certain actions with cutscenes and this will determine how the fans and media sees the player as a person. The more everyone likes you will determine cheers and boos you get, boost/decrease of All-Star votes, Trade Value, Your contract. Becoming to much of a trouble maker will make it were teams will pass on signing you as a Free Ageny, broughtout/waived, decrease in playtime, ect.

EXAMPLE
Josh Howard has asked you to go to a Club with him. Will you hang out with him?
Yes (Next day news shows that you both got into trouble getting you both suspended a few games)
No (Chemistry with Jackson goes down)

What do you think is the reason for your bad game performance tonight? (Press Conference)
Next Question (Look like a jerk for not answering)
Just one of those days I guess (No Effect)
The team just had my number tonight (Look like a humble guy)

OTHER STUFF
Use in-game models of players for their profile picture if they don't have a picture instead of the siloquet for created players and fake faces for drafted players.

Let us be able to edit appearance of players we draft and have a bigger selection of how drafted players look or have it completely random like when pressing Y when in Create a Player mode.

Create a Uniform mode mainly for Create a Team like in APF2k8

Team Intros for WCF/ECF-Finals or entire Playoffs

A Championship Celebration that last at least a few minutes to let us feel like we actually accomplished something.
(Players hugging/jumping into each others arms, People running on the court making it crowded, Championship Ceremony, MVP interview, Locker Room Celebration, End of game Replays with last replay showing team celebrating with the trophy)

Let us manually set injury's, out or hurt, injury time length for players in edit player for association. This way if someone gets injured in real life we can duplicate it in our association.

Come up with a better free throw system. Its broken. Your opponent should not be allowed to pause the game when your at the line. Also the lag before your shot is released. Its like you have to release the shot stick before your player is actually ready to shoot. Its like a crap shoot.

Improve the defense so the game can have a balance. Its too offensive minded. The FG% is too high for shots going in. The players of the bench can play like tim duncan in the post. Its a joke. Also make more charge calls for the abusive offensive players rather then giving them blocking calls most of the time.

Improve the shot stick. The shot stick is not consistent. Its like cpu decides when your shots should go down regardless of when your releasing the shot stick. It has no logic at times.

Have ranked match options. There should be hall of fame ranked matches, superstar, allstar etc... Then you could be ranked according to what level you have been playing on. So each level should have its own ranking. Instead of it just being on a easier level for everybody.

First of all for 2k10, fix the graphics! the courts were blurry and overall i was not happy with the way the game looked!

improvements gameplay wise:
1. i would like to see flagrent fouls, hard fouls that lead to a guy hitting the ground hard, shakin up a bit, get the crowd involved, maybe have the guy jump up and get in the foulers face, and have it be broken up buy refs/players.
2. allow star players/big name players the option to argue calls, maybe by hitting square or circle after a bad call and you can talk to the ref, and the more you talk it can lead to a T. Maybe durning the free throw show a cut scene of lebron/ect still talking things over with the ref.
3. please please, get some good anouncers...someone who you want to listen too. maybe have some better conversations between the two, and sideline, mabye show her in the crowed (behind a team bench) giving the report.
4. make the players move more life like, and make the body models look more realistic.

little visual things i would like to see:
1. mabye show a celeberity in the crowd. show a cut scene close up durning a time out or dead ball.
2. have the bench players in their warmups until they get called in. and show more depth to the players going in and out of the game.
3. i would like to see a better pregame show, and maybe show the team in the locker room getting ready, then cut to the hall way then cut to the court. i would like to be able to participate in the pregame shoot around/two line layups. maybe how well you perform in shootaround/ layups determines how hot your players are when the game starts. just maybe a few minute little warmup, get your players warmed up.
4. i would like to make the game more fun, more realistic. get a scoreboard on the screen with nba tv, or espn, or try and get tnt and have charles kenny and ej do a halftime show.
5. cut to the announcers talking a few times during dead balls or timeouts.

overal, i want to feel as though i am watching on tv. do the little things, cut scenes that make it feel real and look real. fix the graphics on the ps3 version, and give us more updates on the game as it is being made, i dont want the demo to come out a week before release date. add some new features, atleast 5 big new features, that make people want to buy this game so we can do away with the nba 2k10 or nba live 10 discussion boards. also, i like the idea of the team hot and cold streaks, if lebron gets a huge dunk, then gibson gets a steal and a layup, wether on the road or at home, cavs should go on a short 10 to 4 run. get the tempo involved with the plays that happen. have more plays available durning the game and have them real, i want the teams to play like the real teams. i dont want to see lebron not touch the ball on 5 straigh possesions, or see the offense be run through ben wallace, or if the spurs, alberto or whatever. the team should run through the star and around the star player. i just want a game that feels real and feels real. oh, and a final little thing, have player jerseys untuck throughout a game, and show players tucking in durning timeouts or dead balls.

Highly Unlikely
Get a whole new crew. Get real partners from the NBA, whether it be ESPN, ABC, TNT, whatever. Make the commentary more like Live's where they talk to each other and it is more genuine.

Can Be Done
Make the atmosphere for playoff game's better. For example, a Suns home game, make the majority of the crowd wearing white and orange clothes and cheer louder since its the playoffs. Or the team black outs that they use.

Make the association more deeper (restricted and unrestricted free agents), being able to trade for money.

1. Framerate, framerate, framerate!!! it can be smoothed by turning off replay & cutscene options but we arent use to such unstable framerates from you guys.

2. polish, the game is great but it doesnt feel like the new animations and gameplay elements were ironed out like the usualy are.

3. animation variation, you are still light years ahead of everyone else but i dont recal ever seeing so many repetitive animations from you guys.

4. Continue to tweak lock on D, I like this feature and the direction you are pushing it.

5. love the tv style replays that kick in, very well done. lets see more, especialy at half time.

6. bring back Cycle cams and the sliders from 2K8

Very simple wish for the PS3 version of the game - change whatever method 2k sports is using for resolution detection so that 1080p display owners won't have to constantly force the game to 1080p res.

Basically,

if no 1080p, fall back to 720p/1080i, if no 720p/1080i fall back to 480p/i.

The game currently defaults to 720p all the time, and there isn't a whole lot of difference in framerate between 720p and 1080p from what I can tell.

IMO, online association would be a great addition.

Being able to do an association with other friends would be a whole lot of fun.

im having this problem where my tv is capable of 1080p but it falls back to 720p. how do i force my ps3 to play it in 1080p? i wanna see if there is much difference. i am using HDMI cable as well. thanks
