Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

-Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson calling the game, or at least someone with sense, not that new annoying moron on 2k9
-Someone actually sitting, breaking down plays, and making predictions at halftime
-All Star weekend
-Summer league
- Training Camp
- Foot planting
-Being able to edit players faces, hair, etc
-Being able to pick your celebrations or editing your own
-Controlling what type a pass you wanna make (bounce, bullet, lop, etc)
-Finally being able to wear road jerseys at home along with the road retros

Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

Don't know why they took it out from 2K9 when its always been there since the beginning, but:

- Online 2K Camera
- Smooth 2K Camera

Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

Sound, Sound, Sound!!!!

if you watch some of the videos that have been put to real in-game sound and commentary, you are almost tricked into thinking it is the real thing.

COMMENTARY

- put more time and effort into revamping the entire commentary for the game. throw out the script and set harlen and the other members of the team in front of the game and play 30-40 games in front of them and have them commentate on what they are seeing. take sound bits from those games and implement them into nba 2k10. this should keep the commentary from getting old after 2-3 games.

CROWD

- the sound of the crowd is not terrible but when comparing it to a real game, you can tell how far away it is from being authentic. you rarely hear constant whistling in a real nba game but this is something that has been in 2k for as long as i can remember. also the transition from loud to soft moments should be a lot smoother. there are a lot of instant drop offs at strange moments within the game. the crowd noise should also match up exactly with the crowd animations. the crowd should not be standing and chanting at a dull moment in the crowd sound.

IN-GAME

- most of the sound on the court is not bad. the changes i would make in this department are to the sound of the ball, the rim, and the players shoes. when the ball is dribbled or batted away, if doesnt sound like it would if you were watching a televised game. when the ball hits the rim or rips through the net, the sound is still off. and the way the players sneakers squeek on the court is not fruequent enough.

if 2k is able to take actual sound bites from an actual nba game, if would fix almost all of these problems, and if that is a possibility i would strongly suggest that. i am hoping that after 4 years of the same sound, we will see a change in this area. dont get me wrong. I AM A HUGE 2K FAN! what they have done visually is amazing to say the least. if you match the visuals that they have implemented with a new sound, and even better presentation, nba 2k10 would be unmatched.

agree or disagree if you'd like. i wont be checking back to see. ill just wait till next year

Yes, yes, yes. Bring back player intros, the gaudier the better. I want the smoke haze for the first quarter in the Garden too. If not for every game then at least for playoffs.

Those and career mode. I play 2 different associations; one as my Celtics, the other as the Wizards with player lock and the player lock camera as Gilbert Arenas. I don't care about whatever night club and random other stuff like in NBA '09, but I want to be able to practice as whomever's career I choose to take over, do the training camps, do offseason workouts to improve my game (playing ball and lifting weights, etc...), negotiating contracts through my agent (or on my own if I choose to not have an agent), maybe even negotiate endorsement deals since the shoe companies are alreadt licensed or even other types of endorsements. But really I just want full control of everything basketball related with my player's career. And while I'm thinking of it, improving the player lock camera. Sometimes I get dizzy with all the unnecessary spinning, mostly on defense.

Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

A few things that have hampered the game for the past couple years...

Blocks -- There needs to be sliders and ratings to separate on ball and help-side blocks. I see way too many on ball blocks (which leads to inflated block totals for guards) but when reducing the slider to make on ball blocks accurate, then it's near impossible to get help side blocks. My guards block as many shots as my big men and I use the Pistons.

Computer needs to run more plays around their Superstars. It seems like the computer calls random plays that let me off the hook since their best offensive player will go many possession without even touching the ball. Point guards, even average ones, proportionately dominate the ball way too much.

Re: NBA 2k10 Wishlist

2K should do a research on how to advance the commentary to the next level of gaming. Once they did that, they can incorporate it into things like weekly wrap-ups show and things like that........
