NBA 2k10 Wishlist

So far, only one glaring wish left unfulfilled for 2k9.

--Alternating All-Star Game Venue in Association mode--

Explanation:

In NBA Inside Drive 2004, for example, they took a very simple approach here. The first year in franchise mode was the real venue for the asg game. The following year, they kept the same half court "all-star game 200_" logo at midcourt, and simply randomized the new VENUE. in this instance year 2 was in philadelphia. A year later, the logo at half court read "All-Star game 2005". Year 3, alternating to Chicago with "All-star game 2006". Now keep in mind here, the color scheme, logos, and writings on the court EXCEPT for the halfcourt logo is the same as normal gameplay modes. You still see the lakers purple paint, lakers below the basket. Its a simple yet effective carryover with the halfcourt logo being that of all-star caliber.

6 years later, we are not at that level. I am saddened but I wish this post is helpful. Here are some photos I hope you guys find helpful:

I too would like a career mode..

That's one thing that really has me intrigued about NBA 09. They have the whole on and off the court lifestyle incorporated with the game.

I just wish they would go more in depth with association mode too. Like along with NBA.com they should have the local paper that has stories about whats going on with the franchise.. like in the summer, which players are improving their games. Or during the year if things aren't going well an altercation breaks out.. Ect. Ect. ..

Also, one thing I used to like in an older NBA Live game (2004 or 5 I think it was). When I would sign a player or do a trade it would show the guy I acquired walking into the locker room and meeting his new teammates. Probably kind of corny but I remember it actually kinda made the game seem a bit more realistic.

To make this feature more dynamic I think they should also enable coaching personalities. By having this feature when your head coach gets tossed the cpu will take over playcalling and rotations based upon those attibutes for the Asst. Coach. Also, have a relationship attribute between coach and players based upon players stats and their roles with their individual teams. If a guy is not in good standing with the coach or have contract disputes make it mean something.

More create player options! Still!!

More hair colors and real facial hair! Not this "paint" on their faces! Body modifications like NBA 2K3. That was six years ago. Once a feature is in a game it shouldn't be taken out.

Get Paul Pierce's shot right...that's all I ask. I can deal with everything else the way it is.

Add a "run the floor" tendency attribute for each player.

1. A Career Mode ala "NBA The Life/Be A Pro"... the 5-on-5 camera and controls are already in place.

4. Signature Style: The accessories. Pierce's armband should say "The Truth 34" on them, and other stuff like that.

An option for you to select which commentators you want announcing your game. Maybe an option of some or something.
