Having played both demo's, the only difference is that the PS3 version does not have any AA and has a blurry celtics logo at center court and also on the baseline. Other then that they are pretty much the same.

So really the difference between the 2 isn't much, unless AA is a BIG thing for you.

In regards tot he blurred logo, whether this is fixed in the full game , I am unsure.

The size of the demo for PS3 was less then the one for 360, of course it looked a little blurry. It should be fine with the retail version.

Funny thing about this is 2K also is having this problem for the Bioshock game for the PS3, it looks a little better quality on the 360 version. 2K did release a statement that they are aware of the issue with Bioshock and are looking into fixing this. Now what about 2K9 are they going to patch this also? They should so they can put out quality products on both systems. Can someone from 2K confirm that a patch will be also released for the PS3 NBA 2K9 version to fix this?

I have NBA 2K9 for the PS3 and its plays fine in 1080 on my 52" Bravia HDTV.

My 360 died the other day so i've been forced to play the ps3 a lot recently.

2k9 on the PS3 looks excellent, much better than 2k8 on 360. When in motion there are slightly more jaggies but when they show closeups they are not apparent.

Plus many have said the PS3 retail looks even better than the demo, so looks like I will be content until my 360 comes back.
