They arent from may they are from today. In Europe they put the day before the month. 9/5/08 is 5/9/08 in Europe.

sure did... I got over it enough to enjoy the game but I am still waiting for them to have the game resemble to some degree the image quality of all of the enhanced replay footage that they release.

A couple of things I've noticed from the screenshots......

1. It my be the build of the game, but it looks as though 2K has lost their licensing deal with Reebok. I see no Reeboks on sponsored players (Mo Pete, Rondo and Perkins).

2. The new Hornets jerseys are completely hideous. Well, OKC shouldn't feel bad that their logo, name and (possibly) jerseys suck since NOH is right there with them now.

3. The Spurs players are nearly all spot-on. Timmy and Manu definitely look the best IMO. I still don't understand though why they changed Tony's facial model, it was excellent last year? Why is Robert Horry still on the team, while (apparently) George Hill and Ian Mahinmi aren't?

4. Rucker Park looks awesome as an outdoor court, although what's up with the empty bleachers?

That does look like the new lockdown defense meter. Remember that you can set it to 3 levels of coverage (tight, normal, loose), so that is (I assume) why the indicator has 3 areas. Also, it looks like it's separate into right/middle/left, which leads me to believe that it will show whether you're shading them one way or the other.

That's my best guess.

im curious how it will work, if that is the case, pressure sensitive maybe? i hope that this year the icons and name etc... will be a separate option to turn off. in 2k8 if you turned off the name it also turned off the hot spots and the skill icons. i liked the hot spots/heat meter but didnt want or need to see names or the skill icons.
