Re: Community Q&A: NBA 2K9

I haven't said it yet, Chase, so thank you for answering one of my questions (eventhough my biggest concern is still that they'll be snubbing us PAL PS3 owners when it comes to patches). And I know you have amnesia, but I actually have a question which you may be able to answer: you've only touched lightly upon the substitutions, and it's fair that you can't say more after only 2 games, but how was the in-game presentation of the substitutions? I'm specifically thinking of the bug that occasional occurs, when you put a player in at (for example) center but it's presented in-game as a substitute at PF - also, is the substitution graphic from 2k8 is still there..?

Generally did you notice any visual changes in presentation? (besides of course that the scoreboard has been moved to the top of the screen)

Ha, I don't have amnesia, guys just asked a lot of specific questions I have no shot of answering fairly yet.

Anyway the substitution screen is slightly smaller now and was slightly redesigned. It should be fixed so that so-and-so guy who is really playing SG isn't listed at PF on the sub. screen.

No I know, but your logic even is off. If it became easier after a while isn't that the point? Plus with sliders, different difficulty settings, etc.

Not sure if this was asked or not. In regards to the Association Mode. Unfortunately there will be no College Hoops 2K9 but will you be able to use your draft classes from College Hoops 2K8 w/NBA 2K9?

Hi ChaseB,

Does 2K9 still have the same zone defenses if so have they improve them? Thanks

Re: Community Q&A: NBA 2K9

SkinsBoYee,

You do have the option of playing any game in NBA 2k8 association. Even if it is controlled by the computer. From the Calendar screen just click on the Daily View and it will show you all of the games that are for that day. You can then check the box for the game that you want to play.

Re: Community Q&A: NBA 2K9

3 questions and thanks in advance

1. how is the commentary?
2. from all the teams you've played with does most of the players look real? because in 2k8 some of the bench players really did not look like their real life counterpart.
3. hows the soundtrack?
