For those people who thinks some games FG% are high, check out this game. http://www.nba.com/games/20091107/TO...t1hp0020900088

It's possible... this happens from time to time...

good point..

http://nationalpost.stats.com/nba/te...ype=pgprofiles

game by game team breakdowns are CRUCIAL to look at imo. Its more than just averages. Before the season started, that website had all of last seasons stats listed and I think it ranged from 30% to 65%. so playing one game and calling some sliders BAD is not where it lies. you really have to play 20 or more games with a certain set and look for trends.

GSW goes 35% one game, 55% another. for a average of 45%.

maybe a 95% Confidence Interval is in necessity here for all team stats. some games teams get one off. rebound. others theres 10-15. same with many other stats, including FT attempts.

Thanks Ruben,

It takes me over 50+ games to make the stats realistic as possible.. As I said on previous post, every game gives me/us different results stat-wise...

With the new patch out, it's easier for me to tweak the sliders.. No more misses on easy lay ups. inside shots are more believable thanks to player contacts.

not really, shooting sliders are back to default and some changes on attributes... check the first post in this thread. Before using the latest sliders, make sure you download the patch. Since you don't have the patch yet, I'll stick with ver. 1.3

heaven right here
http://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball...9/1/fgpct/24-1

you can sort by month, games won, games vs. top 8, games vs. lottery..

i like this a lot for many of the stats:
http://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball...9/24/1-1-fgpct

its sorted by fg% for various events. games won at the top. games lost near the bottom. but you see the variation in the fg% ever so slightly. its literally a bunch of averages.

but my favorite of all time is a game by game breakdown... here its sorted by FG% for the fg% leading suns last year:
http://www.hoopsstats.com/basketball...24/1-1-1-fgpct

a few 63-64% games. that first game with any set of sliders may yield that and you may be turned off.l but what if you never reach that again.. or what if you play a game with sliders and you shoot 35% like the suns did many times? what if it was just one of those games?

just thought this might help in one way or another.

averages mean nothing when theres no basis for the lower and upper limits...

Re: Greene_Flash's SuperSim Sliders (12 Mins per Q)

The only problem I keep getting is a lot of CPU assists (42 vs the Sixers, 39 vs the Timberwolves, 41 vs the Lakers).
The "star" players, or the players who can make their own shot don't do it... Or 2 times a game...
I rarely see iso, fake, 2 dribble shoot...

How can we correct this flaw ?
