NOGSTER...What do you think of the rosters/sliders to get realistic stats in association mode.

Bench scoring and guard rebounding to low [Reply]

Through to the 3rd qrt. the game has been decent with these sliders.. Kidd has Hit Marion on 4 Alley oop dunk/layups.

My CPU teammates are flatout RETARDED.. uhhhhh

im shooting a ton of shooting fouls, on minimal drives. its gotta be 16 to 4 in favor of user on FTs so far.

more info as the game ends [Reply]

This was a concern of mine. For some reason with this game a lot of tweaks seems to break something else. If anyone can figure it out, I'm sure you can. Peace!!!! [Reply]

Thanks for the heads up man.....

I'm still finding my way around with 2K used some variations of sliders i used last year in the game. Wanted to start out low on sliders and then work upwards because i think that is the best way for me to figure out settings for years in most games. [Reply]

Look forward to the stats so i can compare them to what i'm seeing in my games and then start making adjustments later this evening after work. [Reply]

Played my first 2k10 game against dallas w/ default sliders and it was like And1 with Kidd->Marion. Second game against San Antonio was much better.

Its good to see that team styles are apparent, but you should lower the "throw alley oops" cpu slider. [Reply]

Game #1 is complete. CPU MAVS lost to USER SPURS

Quick Thoughts:

-never really close. CPU never truly posed any sort of challenge despite the score. cpu was mismatching all over the place defensive and I just took advantage.

-One example would be when I passed to Antonio Mc'dice' in the paint. Dirk was guarding him one on one initially. DAMPIER decides to "help" and leaves his man, Tim Duncan who was only 10 feet from the basket. I notice this, pass to duncan, and get the foul called.

-CPU Kidd to Marion was unstoppable. Good for 4 dunks and 1 layup. One Instance and Ill show you think, CPU teammate just watchs as he makes a nice cut to the basket. It's tough with crappy teammates.

-reaching fouls may be a tad too high. I noticed the CPU reaching, which was good, but one small reach and its a foul.

-Shooting fouls DEFINETLY, need to drop 5 or 10 notches. Almost every possession I could just drive half hazardly throw up a prayer and a foul was called. Stats show this as well.

-CPU Dirk despite those three instances of doing nothing, shot jumpers and was a real threat.

-PIP was relatively Low. THanks in large part to the FT numbers I feel.

-assists seem high but I doubt anything can be done for that. Kidd had 16. 9 at half.

-regarding contested layups, I saw likely a 50.50 split on misses and makes.

-CPU teammates dont rebound too well. It seemed like there was too many CPU off. rebounds, due to my teammates lack of skill, including tim duncan.

Game Stats:

Bottomline, CPU AI is not very assertive defensively both my own teammates and the entire cpu team.

Offensively, Dirk had his midrange game. Nice variation there. What wasnt great was seeing the 5 alley oops converted. Defense from here on out will be key to "fix" via sliders.

Game two coming up. Lets see if theres any variation.

Good stuff Ruben....

Looks like defensively the sliders can come up some more and possibly increase human rebounding defensively a tad.

Alley Oop slider is already reduced down to 16. I'll drop it to about 8-10 overall and see if that helps a little more. Although KIdd throwing 4 alley oop's to Marion with the way the Mavs want to play this year isn't that far off from realism.
