NBA 2K Sliders>Pared's NBA 2k10 Tweaks (Post-Patch Updates in first post)

Definitely go in and set the auto-double team to off and call them manually. That's a big culprit to the problem right now. The auto-double team is bugged and will apparently get fixed in a patch. Your help defender on the DT doesn't go to the correct spot and gets stuck behind his teammate.
I would just manually double for right now.
You'll see the issue lessen immensely, as help will only (well, MOSTLY) come when players get beat off the dribble.

No idea. If I were them, I'd wait until you get some feedback on the game upon release, then finalize/prioritize what needs to be addressed.

Pared, do you tone down the CPU's alley oop attempts at all? When I play with my friends even, I find that there are way too many successful alley oops, though my defense could be better.

You can (and should) tone them down for player-player games. Against the CPU, I've seen a change in their offense where I wouldn't suggest it.
Try what works for you. The best way to defend it is to press the steal button on the throw. I've had a lot of success stopping it that way.

ahhh I see, usually just try to jump up and swat the pass away, but sometimes it's hard to react that quickly.
I think its annoying if the CPU tries to throw more than one or two alleys per game. Defendable or not, they shouldn't attempt it more taht in real live. Same goes for tipdunks...
What di u think about that, Pared?

They only do it if the passer has a high rating and the CPU thinks it will have success.
I've seen the CPU attempt it because the defender was "out of position." Sliders can't help that.
If they adjust the defensive AI slightly, you'll see less attempts by the CPU post-patch.
Everyones suggestions are working great so far, only thing I think I changed was increasing CPU on ball defense to 55. seemed as though I was having way too much success driving past cpu defenders

Pared, how many minutes do you play and what do you have the fatigue setting at. It appears as if my guys tire alot. I bet that has a lot of me using Turbo a lot and using lock defense.
