Re: CPU vs CPU sliders - Give these a try

perfect 23...did you find what you needed? I'm still using these sliders, still getting good results...except I fooled around with the durability slider, moving it up to 80...not good..I got more injuries than I was getting at 50, I now have three starters out after three games, and the other teams I was "playing" against were getting hurt more often too. on average, I saw about 4 injuries per game, and I don't think that's realistic. I may start another franchise with it back at the default 50

Re: CPU vs CPU sliders - Give these a try

I need to try these sliders out, I have always been a fan of cpu vs cpu for quite awhile, and I haven't really played to much with the sliders for cpu vs cpu so I think I will give these a go around

Basically, I just need to know what changes did you make from the original sliders on page one that you kept... And, what do you have free throw difficulty at?

Re: CPU vs CPU sliders - Give these a try

Ok, I've dropped the mid-range success to 50. ran two games last night, and both teams shot 55% or better. I will post stats on my next 2-3 games with any slider changes.

Re: CPU vs CPU sliders - Give these a try

bulls 106 grizzlies 73
fg% bulls 46 grizzlies 32
3pts attm/made bulls 4/12 grizzlies 2/20
FT% bulls 86% (38/44) grizzlies 46% (13/28) ...maybe too many foul shots?
team fouls bulls 15 grizzlies 23
rebounds bulls 50 grizzlies 30

the bulls dominated this game from the first quarter, controlling the boards and getting the grizzlies into foul trouble early. 3pt shots seemed pretty realistic, 2/20 for the grizzlies may be a little off, but they were trying to play catch up after mid 2nd quarter. I will run another game tonight with the same sliders

Re: CPU vs CPU sliders - Give these a try

here's another game with the same sliders:

bulls 114 suns 107
FG % bulls 53 suns 47
FT% bulls 96% (28/29) suns 85% (23/27)
3pt % bulls 22% (2/9) suns 40 (8/20)
steals bulls 11 suns 5
rebounds bulls 32 suns 30
off reb bulls 5 suns 3

scoring highlights
bulls Rose 25pts 8reb 6asst, J.Johnson (yes the rookie) 30 pts 6 rebs, L. Deng 14 pts
suns A. stoudamire 27 pts 8 rebs (fouled out) G. Hill 16pts, S. Nash 12 pts 10ast

good game overall, Suns were behind (foul trouble early) most of the game, and they made a big run late in the 4th, cutting the game to 4 points with 2 mins to go. Ben Gordon hit an open 3 with 1:40 left, and that sealed it. I am sticking with these sliders, doesn't look like there needs to be much tweaking, and the new game will be coming out in about 4 months. maybe I will buy it, maybe I won't.
