Dont subtract it. Divide it then multiply it. Its the only way to reduce it accurately (as in keeping the correct scale between players)

If you want Kobe to be the standard bearer and make his 99 into a 83 you do 83/99 = 0.838

Then you mutiply everyones number by that (0.838)

0.833x99 = 83

If you subrtact you get Kobes new tendency scale correct, but you will have thrown everyone else off.

Examples:

If LeBron is a 95 and you subtract 16, your making him a 79. To keep the correct space between him and Kobe you use Kobes multiplication rate.

95 x 0.833 = 80

Seems like no big deal, but that variation gets disturbingly out of whack with the more distance is between that player and Kobe.

99 = 83 (83)
90 = 75 (74)
80 = 67 (64)
70 = 59 (54)
60 = 50 (44)
50 = 42 (34)
40 = 34 (24)
30 = 25 (9)
20 = 17 (4)
10 = 8 (-6)

Discrepencies that off will destroy the proper balance of every player involved. High guys like Kobe LBJ's PPG will skyrocket on you and the other players will plummet.

You can change the scale but you have to do it correctly if thats what your wanting to do.


On the flipside if mine needed to be RAISED to match Kobe as 83 and have everyone follow suit the multiplication rate would be the reverse.

83/63 = 1.317

63 x 1.317 = 83

and so on. Rule #1 that cannot be broken on overall shot tendency is if you change the scale, do it for EVERYBODY. At the VERY least do it for everybody on that players team. But that only works if you dont add new players to your team that are out of scale.

If you raise ONE player, You take shots from everybody else on his team.

If you lower ONE player, You are giving everybody else extra shots.

Great sliders Neon. My sole complaint is that the CPU is taking too many 3pt shots. 30+ is way too many. Keep up the great work.

Yeah. Why? I changed a lot of sigs. Mostly FT's and Dunks though. You will see some dunk package names attached and be like wtf..but they work in game well with the combo of speed,handle and dunk ratings i use.

Most of he super crazy stuff doesnt get triggered.

Thanks. Theres no sliders at work here, outside of the coach profiles. As far as the threes were working on it.

It really flares up when somebody plays the first time because nobody is used to having to defend like in actuality (keep your man between the ballhandler and the hoop), most people just start trying to do that harrass style d, and dont realise they are actually behind thier man giving him a wide open shot.

Were working on it though. We will keep tweaking until anybody can pick it up and play without knowing that. We will find the fix eventually.
