Im in same boat as you.

i tried playing one game on Pro and another on All-Star against the Celtics using the Grizzles. The first game on Pro I beat them 100-92. It was fairly an easy thoughout the whole game. The most I was up was by 15. The Celtics shot around 53% and their PITP was fairly low. The second game on All-Star, I got my butt whooped 117-94. But it was so frustrating how they was playing the whole game. I never held the lead in the game, had to play catch up the whole game. Open lanes to the basket, busting down mid range jumpers with a hand in face and shooting 3pt'rs at will and making them. They shot around 58% and had 64 PITP.

Its frustrating because I mainly play All-Star and I have never seen this before. I dont know if its the team im using (Grizzles) but the cpu seems like their superhuman and just doing everying imagnable unrealistically. Im trying to enjoy this method but its just not happening for me.

I noticed this as well..... it's odd because I didn't notice this until I started association...

Perhaps it has something to do w chemistry. I also had a my best game in a quick game. It was on pro as well. Play a game in assoc and hell breaks loose.

I see it wasn't mentioned in the first post but you should turn clutch off also. Did you guys do that? Clutch will kill any slider/roster combination you can think of. There's already enough clutch built-in with teams. So make sure you turn clutch off.

These "sliders" are ,by far,the best i´ve seen so far,but one problem: updated player transfers

i used to let 2kgames do the job,everyweek they updated the rosters,and i was happy

if i stick to these rosters,i can not use the 2k games updated rosters ,right?or can i?

what can i do,to have the realism that neon rosters allows me to,and at the same time,to have the player transfers allways updated??

Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase say sometinhg

Yes i always turned clutch off ever since the early days of 2k because I know the damage it can do.

But im going to try once again to play a few more games with this method with different teams. If I see the same results, im going back to using sliders.

One question though, since the players seemed to be edited to play like they do in real life with their team, if the player gets traded or signed to another team, will their playing style change?

Edit transfers by yourself not using the 2k update. 2k update will crash Neon's work. You have to choose between being up to date or Neon. For me it's simple.

I was seeing this "one man always open" too. It seemed to me that it was becasue the cpu changed to zone defense (and they don´t know how to properly play that type of defense).

So, what i did was, go to coach profiles and move the zone usage slider to 0 (zero).

Voilá! Problem solved.

I have no idea what will happen. I don't think anyone has played these sliders with a trade happening. I would imagine that the player would have to adapt to the the team's style while also continuing playing his style of ball within the concept of the team.
