Fear's All-Star Pc Sliders(ver 4.3)

This is version 4.3.of my sliders for pc.All-star level.
Decided to update the sliders so they work along with Meh&Ryan Roster Update v.2.2 that is based on Nogster's rosters and OS Outsiders Coach Proflies/Tendencies.
All i can say is that i am amazed by the work of these guys. The game now plays nearly as a SIM and there is a huge difference from default rosters/ratings/coach profiles.

Gameplay:
Dif:All-Star
Quarter Length:12min
Clutch Factor: on
Real Player FT: on

Human-Cpu
Offense
Close:30/30
Mid:45/45 )
3PT:47/47)
Layup:45/45
Dunk:50/50
Dunk In Traffic:15/15
Screen Success:35/35

Comments so far:These give FG% between a range of 31%(lowest seen) and 57%(highest seen) with an average 41,9%.

Defense
Steal Success:50/50
Help Defense Strength:0/0 (This works perfect for pc.it's broken on 360.Analysis:When set to 100 there is some rotation but it's strict.the defender will stick closely to his player not giving space for example on a pick 'n' roll.we are talking about strength not just help defense.when set to 0 there is realistic rotation because the defender moves somewhat more slowly giving enough space for a mid-range shot.i tested a big amount of plays and all these are clear.i'll try to make some videos so there is proof and all fully understand what i'm saying(sorry for my poor english). You can set the cpu slider wherever suits you.having problems taking mid range shots and you feel frustrated trying all the time driving in the paint for easy bucket?set to 0.it's your call.

Attributes
Stealing:50/25
Blocking:0/0 (Still blocking is good even at 0)
Ball Handling:40/40
Off Aware:40/40
Def Aware:75/80 (Gives more space for mid range.i'll try a few games with it set to 45 or even 40 and i'll inform about results)
Off Reb:50/0(Cpu gets 8-12 reb.it's pretty close to nba stats i think)
Def Reb:54/50
Clutch Factor:20/20
Stamina:42/42
Durability:45/45 (thanx future's420!)
On Ball Defense:50/50Speed:45/41 (Taken from future's420 slider set.i like it.)
Quickness:0/0

Tendecies
Close:50/0 (Back and forth with this.if you want a much more difficult and D-concentrated game set it to 40 but you will experience flash cut passes in the paint when cpu is behind by 10 or more points.ATTENTION:if you are using default rosters set it to 40/55/40.with meh&ryan's rosters game becomes 50% more difficult)
Mid:50/100
3PT:50/40
Attack Basket:25/25 (Decided that 0 is excessive.More variety and unexpected collisions and plays when cpu drives in)
Finish Strong Inside:45/45 (Just to have a realistic amount of dunks bacause quickness is now at 0)
Look Post:60/60 (A MUST change because of help d 0 and close tendency at 0.i saw 3 nba matches the last days and there is always a pass to the post)
Flashy Passes:0/0
Commit Fouls:95/60 (Can set it even at 100)
Go For on ball steals:41/30
Hands:30/30 (This gives a real amount of TO and steals and discourages CPU and Human cheesing in the paint)
Play Passing Lanes:65/65
Triple Threat:50/70
Hook Shots:10/10
Fadeaways:25/25 (There was unrealistic number of off-balance shots by CPU.it's ok in mid range but in 3PT shots was ridiculous)
Size up:50/80

NBA Rules
Charging:75
Blocking:100
Reaching:65
Shooting:65
Loose Ball:100

Could you post the slider file here for everyone to download? I downloaded Wonderland's except I like to play longer quarters.

Re: Fear's Pc Sliders(Pro-All Pro)

these are pretty good sliders. Then only thing I did different is made both the user and cpu sliders the same.
I also cranked the layup back to 50 the user controlled team missed to many layups with the 45 setting. I lowered close shots to 25

gamespeed-50
quickness-45
severity of injury is 55

Human-Cpu
Offense
Close: 25
Mid: 43
3PT: 44
Layup: 50
Dunk: 50
Dunk In Traffic:15/15

Defense
Steal Success:40
Help Defense Strength:75

Attributes
Stealing:35
Blocking:30
Ball Handling:30
Off Aware:50/50
Def Aware:75
Off Reb:50
Def Reb:50
Clutch Factor:10
Stamina:41 or 42
On Ball Defense: 60

Tendecies
Close:50
Mid:75
3PT:50 (cpu sometimes takes to many threes so you may want to lower this)
Attack Basket:50
Look Post:50
Flashy Passes:25
Commit Fouls:60

NBA Rules
Charging:75
Blocking:75
Reaching:75
Shooting:65
Loose Ball:100

Im at work right now but these are the changes I made from your sliders (i'll post more accurate sliders when I get home) and Ive been getting a good flow. a good diversity of games so far.
This game plays well right out the box so the adjustments are minimal.

my shooting percentage has dropped to about 38% since incorporating your sliders. the defense is tough enough but throughout the game Ill still see good offensive spurts.

I play 6 minute quarters on pro level, and Im still learning these controls.

Re: Fear's Pc Sliders(Pro-All Pro)

Forgot to add Finish strong inside both 25 human/cpu.
Well, last night i had the most defensive match using the sliders.
Me the bobcats(home) vs the heat.both teams similar in overall stats.79-62 the result.they scored 26 PiP,with 34%FG and wade really had a bad game.i don't know if i'm getting good but bobcats seem very stable on defense.of course their offensive potential is at around 80 points.bobcats also scored 79 in their true nba match last night against the cavs.i'll check them vs a top team.i want to lose by a big margin, otherwise i might think raise up the PiP for the cpu.

Just cheched last night's nba games.
1) Teams score 1/3 PiP.Only the suns had 42 of their 95 total. So Sliders are pretty close to real nba %.
2) Fouls range from 15-26 per team.my advice is stay with pretty high foul sliders so the teams get at least 18FT per game.

Re: Fear's Pc Sliders(Pro-All Pro)

Nice i played 2-3 games with your sliders and they are the best so far i saw for pc.The AI is playing rly smart and using the clock the only problem i experience so far was that R.Allen missed 10 3PTs...

Re: Fear's Pc Sliders(Pro-All Pro)

Back again...more powerful, moving level! And now on All-Star level the best set of sliders after big testing. Results are awesome!
Keep all sliders as posted in 1st post and change:
Close Tendency:0(CPU)
Attack Basket:0(CPU)
Finish Strong Inside:25/25(Hum/CPU)
Offensive Rebounding:0(CPU)
Commit Fouls:85/65(Hum/CPU)
Shooting Fouls:75
Great scorelines,FG%,PiP,Ft Shots,3pt shots.I play with Bobcats:
Vs Cavs 79-96(WTF!!!!Same result as in their real game!32-35 PiP)
Vs Heat 91-87(Great win.Both teams 44%FG,42-32 PiP)

Some tips for D and Offensive play:
1) Switch with icon trigger to your PG in your D at the start of Cpu offense.Do not panic and keep switching players as cpu passes.study their play and their star players.try to cover area inside the paint when cpu passes to 3 or 4.
2) Do not rush in the paint in your offense.after 3-4 baskets cpu will adapt and close every lane.Look for the mid range shots, have visual play on.Have confidence in your shooters. If you'll try to dominate in the paint you will finally get frustrated. You MUST involve shooting guards in the ballgame.

Re: Fear's Pc Sliders(Pro-All Pro)

After playing a series of games on Pro i came to a conclusion:
On pro cpu plays much more conservative style of bball but after a while that's getting repetitive.so i suggest playing on all-star for more variety.tested wonderland's sliders with a few adjustments and work better on all-star.
On-topic now last game i played with my sliders on all-star against the knicks:bobcats-knicks 100-105
FG% 42-48,PiP 53-48,FT:21-26,16-21,3PT:3-17,7-16.Off Reb:7-8.steals 11-13.

Re: Fear's Pc Sliders(Pro-All Pro)
