I want to hear how the shooting is looking? Im currently at completely default but have only had the chance to play 2 games so my sample size is small. In those 2 games the Indiana Pacers were able to shoot something like 53% over the entire game and in the second game against Washington they shot 46%. I would hate to think that lowering their shooting sliders would make their offense completely inept. On the flip side, in 2 games so far, again small sample size I know, Im shooting 53%+ in each game and Im not abusing the paint, Im drilling jumpers with Prince and Hamilton coming off of screens, ie. the way Detroit plays in real life. Any feedback would be great.

Game stats from my first game in my association can be found in the dynasty thread. I think opposing offensive rebounds were very high. What can we do to fix that?

I feel like even with the lowered shooting that the CPU offense still is fine. They run plays and make shots if left wide open.

Hell, I can't even get the CPU or my team to take any actual shots. I'm still having major issues with too many points in the paint. I use ''player lock'' with my franchise, so I'm trying to find a way to get BOTH sides to take some mid/outside shots. It's ridiculous.

So far, I've tried Portland, Lakers, Bulls, and Orlando. I'm going with Utah now, and traded for JJ Redick, who I'll be locked on for his whole career. I like the game, a lot, but damn, the points in the paint are ridiculous. And, yes, I am using Nogsters roster edits, which aren't helping much.

I went as far as lowering close shots to 0, and maxing out mid shot - Still not much of a difference.

Wow thats weird. I have no problem with them taking mid range and 3 point shots on me.

Re: Marino's sliders log based off of bigfnjoe96 Hardwood Sliders

Well Im officially done trying to get default Pro to work, the CPU hits everything in sight, I thought it was a one game thing when Toronto worked me and Calderon hit jumper after jumper, even with a hand in his face most the time. However, after watching Jarvis Hayes shoot over Prince all game and finish 5/7 and Devin Harris shooting 6/9 with Billups on him like glue Im left to assume the shooting is just ridiculous this year. Im 2-3 with Detroit and every game besides one has been completely offensive oriented so far. Toronto shot 54.9%, Bobcats shot 48.7%, Washington shot 48.8%, Indiana shot 51.9% and New Jersey shot 49.4%. Thats way too high when Im Detroit, we shouldnt be struggling to stop every single team on the schedule. I dont have a problem if its here and there or if Im a bad defensive team but Detroit should not be giving those numbers up on a consistent basis. What type of scoring are you seeing from the CPU marino? Im going to use Pared's shooting and see what happens, he has them at 42,47,45 for both Human and CPU. In terms of my shooting percentage, as a team, Im shooting 51.1% so clearly that has to come down as well. I would have never guessed that I'd be sitting here having to lower the CPU's shooting on Pro, Im not sure what thats a sign of but it surprises the hell out of me. I want to hear your feedback marino when you get the chance, thanks.
