Nogster's Rosters and WHOSE SLIDERS???

First post.

I normally don't start threads anywhere, but I've been searching for this info and can't find too much about it. And, considering how popular Nogster's Rosters are, I'm not sure why there isn't a dedicated thread for it.

So, for all of you who are using Nogster's Rosters:

1) Whose/what sliders are you using?

2) What difficulty does this work well on?

3) Is this a good combo? WHat are its strengths....weaknesses?

I'm not one to tinker too much with sliders. My brain's wiring doesn't really handle that kind of stuff too well, so I'm trying to find a nice combo.

Anyone?

I'm using Blue Lightning Sim Sliders 2 (BL Sim Sliders 2 on 2Kshare). You can check his slider thread for the stats of my games; compare a game between two running teams (Knicks vs. Hornets) and two defensive teams (Pistons vs. Cavs) for the variety these can provide.

I'm playing with a mix of Daoud's sliders, Nogster's sliders and the Blue Lighting's sliders along with Nogsters rosters and getting great results. Need to tweak a few things and do some of my own testing and then I'll post em up. Nogser's rosters made things 10x better for me, but I still felt the game could be improved to play like real basketball from there. And since none of the slider sets seemed to be just right I'm trying to come up with something before the season starts. I've been using superstar difficulty, might kick it up to HOF. Also, I only use 12 minute quarters, so that's the other thing

ive updated and fine tuned some player ratings/tendencies and changed certain player positions so the cpu doesnt mess with the rotations in associations.
ie: odom is PF..
okafor is C...etc..etc..

updated team rosters and rotations, BUT ive left the currently injured team mainstays roles as they would be if they were ready to go..
ie: monta ellis and gilbert arenas are starting for their teams.

ak47 is now off the bench. i doubt the cpu will leave it like that when controlling the jazz though....but i have changed his role to 6th man so i hope the cpu recognized this and leaves him as a reserve.

and so on...

so go get it fellas..

i want to useyour roster too but i have a problem, like when 2k update the roster, including newly created players, then i can't use that roster cuz i m using yours, and i want to edit one roster file instead of changing whenever you update, so i wonder how i can get this done,!

i re-edited every player when i first got the game..esspecially the horridly overdone 3pt attributes..
so yes..i "fixed" the 3pt ratings.

your choice..u cant have both..

do u want the "official" but half assed rosters, with poorly implemented ratings and specifically tendencies?
or do u want the game to play and sim better and more accurately portray the nba? stats, gameplay, the lot.
