Contest Shots & On Ball Defense at 0 in Superstar Difficulty

First off I use tweaked aaron v2 sliders with quickness lowered to 25, the usual small shooting tweaks, steal attribute lowered to 40, the Future's tendencies and nogster's roster. After tweaking around, i found i have been having some great games with on ball defense and contest shots at 0/0. Bumping the difficulty up to superstar level seemed to yield some great results, since an overabundance of blocks were plaguing my games (even with blocks down to 0), it seems to play well at these settings since you can:

-Run your iso sets effectively in the space created for you by your teammates (actually get somewhat open with dribble moves)
-Get off perimeter jump shots with a man in your face (albeit a lower % one), which seems more realistic since in reality a defender can never know when a player will jack up his shot, exacerbated by the extremely quick release of NBA jump shooters, which is why you rarely see jump shots blocked in real games, even pressured ones
-Get off shots on hard drives to the basket from the 3 point line

Seemed to put up somewhat realistic stats with these on (47% fg's for each team in a Nuggets v Hawks match, although a following match was 55% for each team), main point though was extremely entertaining to play. It might make the game too easy although the superstar difficulty level should hopefully negate this. Scores were extrapolating to 120-110 a game, although i was playing a semi-arcadey style (took most shots with star(s) by far). I did lose the above games by a few points though. Thoughts on lowering these settings?

Hmm that is strange. I wasn't seeing that problem that bad, mainly since thefuture's tendencies sets take close shots to like 10 and take mid range to 95. Maybe try that? That and nogster's rosters seem to alleviate the problem (well not entirely). I'll have to play a bit more then comment back.

Playing a bit more and you were right dude, bumped up held d and defensive awareness to 100 and it stops most of the backdoor cuts to easy baskets. Plays really well. I see enough blocks with blocks at 15/0 tho so didn't bump that up, i wouldn't recommend having that up. But yeh plays great, although fg% might be a bit too high for bball purists (its around 50% on average for both teams), but i guess you can counter that by lowering the shot settings yourself. So yeh this is what im using from now on, it has played the funnest for me so far.
