Simmed Quarter Lengths

What quarter lengths for simmed games is everyone playing with? I am seeing some extremely high scoring games with it set at 10 minutes.

You need to adjust coaching sliders to lower the tempo of all teams in the game:

Pistons/Spurs are tempo rating 10, lower it to 0
Knicks are tempo 100, lower it to 75
Everything in between you can figure out.

Sim 82 games in association with a team, then goto team stats for the year, league average should be around 99ppg, ranging from 110ppg to 90ppg.

You may still get high ppg averages, if so, check 3pt %'s for teams, team averages for 3pt field goals range from 39% to 32%, so adjust success sliders or individual player ratings accordingly till you get it how you want it.

Hopefully team FG%'s are sitting between 50% and 43% or so, and there you go, realistic sim stats @ 12min sim quarters.

P.S. individual game simulations will always turn up some unlikely scorelines, but they should average out over 82 games which is all that matters really.

in my experience they won't average out... i use 11 and it seems to get the right team ppg range... individual stats may be a pinch low somehow, i think those guys at the end of the bench really make their few minutes count maybe... but lebron averaged 30 ppg to lead the league and that was fine by me...only howard was above 10 rpg but paul and deron were both over 10 apg
