nogsters game sliders

I am just wondering Nogster. The Attributes sliders above, do they have any impact on the Individual Player Ratings?

For example: Say you changed a individual player attribute/rating for a certain player for steals to 85, because you thought that suited him more. But then you change the STEAL attribute in the global CPU sliders from 50 to 40. Does this have an effect on that players individual steal attribute of 85? Like even though it still says 85, possibly it has an effect as if the Attribute was put down to 75? o.0

yes it does..
it globally drops the scale for all players.

thats what the attribute sliders do.

ive upped the "offense" sliders so that im more effecient at jumpers...this makes me look for perimeter shots more than trying to fine score inside all the tme..it rewards me for taking good j's..

and this is what i mean by sliders are personal.
some people may have no trouble making consistent perimeter shots and can play comfortably with mid and 3pt sliders in med to low 40's...
i thought i could, but once i started my season, i went ice cold from the perimeter...so ive raised them back up to near default.

lol, this looks almost identical to the set I am using with your rosters. I didn't even know you posted these. I used Heelfan's slider set as a base set and adjusted from there. I do have the CPU "look for Post Players" tendency a little lower at 19 I think. But these look pretty much like the onces I am using and I am getting great games using these! I was just pleased to see that you are using a similar slider set to mine with your rosters.

I've started using these Nogster - and had a great 2OT game last night - could you also please post what you have your foul sliders set at? I had 2 shooting fouls committed against me in my game, so think I need to alter them from default

i am using the same and have commit fouls for both cpu as user on 75.. Getting on 10 min quarters between 15 and 20 fouls...

Still lookin at shot succes for the different categories... 45 is too low, because I get blown away than... currently have both mid-range and 3pt on 48/46...

After seeing your sliders thinking about upping it to 50/48.. What's your experience?

i tried to play hornets vs knicks with nogster's roster(which are absolutly great) and his sliders. the knicks lead 28-26 after first Q while scoring 22 points in the paint.i quit at that point.what's wrong?with shot close tendency at 0 and mid range at 99 and 3 pt at 47 they are still only scoring in the paint.what the hell is wrong with this game?

also...another question regarding shooting...they shoot way way to early(and i am talking not only about knicks).i played against nets and they still had like 96 fga

yeah i upped the mid and 3pt success to 48 and 50 for both me and cpu respectively. and dropped the close shot success to 40 [check the the 1st post on this thread]
it rewards me for taking jumpers instead of forcing myself to score inside..which makes the game more realistic and enjoyable.

Have people been playing on Superstar with these sliders? For some reason I blew the Mavs out by 35 on All-Star yesterday when I usually only win by 5-15 points.

Maybe it was a one time thing.
