Hey Nogster, thanks for the help....I've played a lot of games with these sliders and these are definitely the best I've used so far....I did make a few changes just to better suit my team and playing style. I can just about hit every stat right on with the actual NBA....except for user steals being too high. The computer routinley bounces passes off players legs and backs. Also my bigs deflect a lot of passes, resulting in my center and power forward averging 2-4 steals per game.
I've already upped hands for the comp. to 50 but I still average about 12-16 steals a game , which is about double the NBA. So my question is, if I wanted to lower user steals should I start with lowering the steal success slider (currently at 55 for user) the steal attribute (currently at 40 for user) or should I edit my players play passing lanes tendencies....
Come to think of it, I play on PC so I'm currently using the coaching profiles and tendencies you posted just recently...I entered them all by hand...I'm wondering if I missed some of the changes in player tendencies ie. play passing lanes or something else by not downloading the roster.

hey nogster is it normal for the pacers to attempt 35 threes?
cuz the past few games i played i find the comp attemps way too many 3
how can i change that? i play good d so i dont know wat to do

what rosters are you using?
that can make a difference.
the pacers are a team that like the 3...35 is a lot no doubt..but only unrealistic if its consistently happening.
if you want a lower 3pt count..lower the 3pt tendency slider to 40 or 45.
just keep in mind doing that may affect the cpus tendency to shoot inside. meaning more p.i.p.
a high 3pt tally is the result of a bigger emphasis on lowering the p.i.p frequency and expanding the cpus' jump shooting emphasis.

also. the cpu counts shots as 3's when the player is clearly over the line.

i'm using the one with the updated moves that portland put out a few days ago but i havented downloaded the one he put out yesterday

okay..the one he put out yesterday has no difference in ratings/tendencies etc..so the gameplay will be the same.
so yeah..just lower the 3pt tendency game slider to 45 or 40. whatever gets you the lowered 3pt results you are looking for.
just keep in mind. that the reaction could be a higher reliance on inside scoring.

how come i'm getting so many pip a game the past 2 games the comp been averaging 50-60 pip no matter how good my d is
