ive done all i can to negate them with the sliders..
its a 2k9 thing man.

in your coach profile, lower your "def pressure" under 50...
this helps in making the cpu more open to shooting js as your defense is not up in their mug, on the ball, but most importantly, off the ball as well...
with d pressure tight, your teamates leave themselves vulnerable to the opponent cutting and slashing to the basket, with passes and drives...the cpu wont look to shoot j's as your D pressure doesnt give them the space to.

Hey nogster,

I'm into playing 2k9 again, have started an association with bobcats, outsiders rosters and your sliders. Just to give you an idea I have made a couple trades to get some of my favourite ballers on the team. So I'm running with DJ Aug/JR Smith/Gerald/Okafor/Drew Gooden with Raja/Diaw/Tyrus Thomas getting most of the bench minutes.

Okay, so I'm on 10 minute quarters, superstar and have played the first two games versus the cavs and heat. Both have been challenging games. The cavs ended up blowing me out due to Gibson nailing three after three in the 4th but hey that's what he can do and Bron played pretty average overall. The heat beat me by a few after a solid run mid 4th which I couldn't claw back from.

Overall I like the sliders. Would be keen to hear your opinion on how I might be able to tweak them for my style though. The main issue I was hoping to clean up a bit is that I've been shooting around 43% and my opponents around 50% mainly due to missed lay ups by me and few missed lay ups by them I think.

Thoughts? Much appreciated.

i dont know man....maybe raise layups i suppose..
thing is, my sliders are one of the most forgiving on this board in relation to shooting ability.
most sliders around here set their shooting sliders lower than mine..
play a few more games, get your skills up a bit more. and get used to your team..play fundamentally, within the teams strengths and gamestyle, and you should get more success.
Im not really one to speak though..ive just been blown out twice in a row..on allstar..so.....

Fair enough, I'll play through a few more games and see how they go with no changes. Maybe things will even out as I get used to the team and hopefully learn to play better defense.

Ouch on your last games, 2k9 can be brutal ay. I was thinking of switching to allstar when playing originally but am doing well enough to keep balling superstar for now. Apparently gone are the days of hall of fame like 2k7 and 2k8 though. Frustrating..

so i finally got my 2k yesterday man why did i wait so long i actually had a good game..only cuz i wont...but i think i did something wrong lol maybe thats why i won...i used the sliders from here now was i supposed to change everything human or everything cpu, because i only changed human i hope that didnt give me that huge advantage i know the part were you listed cpu only i changed cpu i was on all star...and won like 117-89 pacers over the knicks..but i just want to know exactly which sliders to move hum or cpu or both..thanks!
