ABA roster request

any chance anyone can do a classic aba team roster? using the classic aba jerseys included in the game? charlotte cougars, denver rockets, indiana pacers, los angeles stars, memphis tams, miami floridians, minnesota muskies, new york nets and san antonio chaps (spurs)....adding these with some classic nba teams from '67-'76 (aba's existence) would be kinda cool. it could be called the aba vs nba roster.

lol, good point bigdaddie.....i love the history of the game and seein' the jerseys (and ball) are in the game, just thought it would be kinda cool.

coincidental that you inquire about this. I've just launched an 1971-72 ABA project. The file i was planning on distributing would be a playoff file with the top 8 ABA teams in one conference and the top-8 NBA teams from that season in the other. Not all of the jerseys are available, rather most are not. At present I am trying to adjust in-game retro jerseys for available teams from that season. this is for Xbox and there is not a set completion date. But hopefully not too long.

PS: At this period, much of the NBA play style was drab, while the ABA was exciting. Just so everyone knows.

I like your idea on this. When do you think it will be uploaded to 2kshare? Be interesting playing with the retro jerseys all the time and the retro arenas if thats possible. Even if you have to just make the whole NBA ABA jerseys or old school so that way even though it's new school it's mixed with an old school way of life.

I had initially intended to release a Play-off file which would be available for download from the web, and could be loaded into the Xbox via usb. However, I could always upload the roster file as well.

that is fine because I am performing the team and jersey edits on the roster file prior to initiating the Play-offs, which is where i planned to do the roster edits so that there is no glitching or freezing. However, I may have stumbled upon a technique to avoid those issues.

Either way, i'll get a roster file for 2kshare.

This thread had a guy who was doing the last season of the ABA but he never released it. He was pretty far along and may have finished it but he ran into a hiccup with trying to upload it on 2KShare.
