Question copying a created team from one roster save to another

Hey all,
my question is this..i have created a team full of caps but also want to download a roster update.
will this completely erase all my caps? or can i save my downloaded updated roster onto one save and then copy my created team from the other save onto it....if you grasp what im saying.

I don't think that is possible. Other thing you can do is upload your created guys in the download players section, and retrieve them later back

Re: copying a created team from one roster save to another

easy.....
yes u can keep your created team. u can keep all your created teams. full of your own c.a.ps. and use a different roster.

this is what u do.

create your team/s..
then start a custom association with that team.
then go to the save menu in your association and select "export team"
save the team file and viola! u are done.
then quit your association, go to the main menu.
load or download the roster u want to use.
if its a 2kshare roster.. be sure that once u have downloaded it and saved it as a 2kshare file. that u load it then save it as a roster file so that now it becomes your default roster and automatically loads whenever play nba2k9.

once u have your desired roster loaded. then go to load/save in the main menu, and load your exported team. and there u have it..
then save your roster again.

BUT!!

u cannot trade or release players from a created team. so the players are stuck in that team...

BUT!

u can get them out of that team in association mode.

start an association with the team...and then trade your players to the team/s u want them in. then u will have to resign your position and take control of each of those teams your player is in that u want to export..
then do the same as above to save that team and use it in your main menu roster.

hope that helps

but there is one thing about this nogster, and i hope they fix it in a patch, when you load a saved team it changes a bunch of players in the entire leagues names.

Is this also possible at season-mode?

Hey nogster,

Whenever I load up an exported team with created players onto another roster, the created players faces are pretty much reset to a lot of the default sliders and the players don't look the way I wanted them too.

Does that happen to you? I'm on PS3, btw.
