Online NBA 2K Rosters For 360?

Hey guys! I have only been on the 360 scene for a couple months now. The only rosters that I've used have been offline rosters. I've not been online to do anything. I need to say that I'm not interested in online for playing games.

How do I go about getting rosters that users upload for sports games? I'm not talking about specific rosters to download while playing against someone online for that game. Can you access rosters in general not only for NBA 2K but other games by being online & not having a game in the dvd tray drive.

I'm sorry but all my rosters have been gotten offline & I want to be able to have better access to rosters provided by online users. I've read about Xbox Live so am I gonna absolutely need this service to get any rosters? Thanks & let me know!

Well,there are a ton of great rosters and sliders on 2KShare,but yeah you gotta have the game booted up to get them.You can also get the official updates from 2K.All of these files can be saved to the hard drive and used offline.The EALocker feature on EA sports games works the same way.
The slider sets and rosters provided by users absolutely save NBA2K and make it one of the best sports games.There is a good roster file available for Choops2K8 for this year,as well as sliders for that game.

Slightly OT,but an Xbox360 without Live is kinda pointless to me.Without Live,you may as well go with PS3.

Thanks koenber! Like I said, I'm not interested in playing games online & that's what the main benefit is for xbox Live really. Is there any way to get all these rosters without a Live account? Can I just place whatever game I'm wanting rosters for in the tray & then download user rosters like this without having a Live account? Or do I need at least need a silver to do this? Sorry, but new to me online. Thnaks!

2KShare works with the free Silver account.EA Locker requires Gold-you can use a free trial card if there was specific files you wanted.
Game patches and demos are available with Silver,as well.

Of course,13 month Gold cards can be had for 40 dollars...that's 3 bucks a month. Who knows,you might actually like playing online after all

Thanks koenber! I really am not into playing games online against other people. The online thing would only be for getting rosters & that's about it. Thanks!
