***Rotation Minutes FIX***(Getting everyone playtime that you assign minutes to!)

Go to:
Gameplay Settings
Turn OFF fatigue

Go to:
Coaching
Set Substitution to AUTO
Set Substitution method to ROTATION

For some reason when you have Fatigue STILL set to ON. Players will not sub in and get the minutes you set in the Rotations menu....

THIS FIX FIXES IT.

EX: Before with Fatigue on(within the gameplay settings) I NEVER got my team specific minutes to be accurate. Players would always fatigue slowly anyway and never sub in). After changing fatigue to OFF I automatically saw a HUGE and accurate depiction of my player rotation minutes that I set.

For me I look at fatigue as a problem when trying to get accurate minutes for players that I've set. this fixes it 110 percent.

If fatigue was important in NBA 2k9 it would affect player moves and run speeds which it does not. Subbing out is much more realistic when set to minutes because everyone that's been STATISICALLY averaging minutes get their playtime...

If your looking for accurate rotations based off of real NBA games this is the way to go... fatigue subs in players haphazardly to make any real contribution to the gameplay. Plus you have to mess with the fatigue and stamina sliders which are a pain to get around as well...

Re: ***Rotation Minutes FIX***(Getting everyone playtime that you assign minutes to!)

Are you talking about IN GAME? I found that the game will run your rotation even with fatigue on as long as you go and set both coaches subs to ROTATION.

Problem is..they reset back to fatigue when you reset your console. You dont have to keep reseting it every game but you do have to everytime you start up 2k9 which is a problem.

I havent tested this years fatigue effect but i always thought it affected your shooting ability/accuracy negatively as the player gets more fatigued? Seemed so.

If it still does then turning fatigue off would be a big problem with guys like eddie house that can come in for short bursts and murder you but cant do that if he was played an entire game.

I always edit fatigue in contrast to the type of minutes the player regularly plays. To stop short minute scoring punch players/energy guys from killing it all game long.

OK so it works but it does not save....

however my option does it for you were you don't have to go back n forth to get proper rotation minutes by switching profiles like that

Additionally All the slider settings for dfefense and shotting percentages kill off any fatigue threats or energry boosts anyway...

i'll be sticking with this option as it's the best fix...

Cool. I dont believe in sliders...When sliders are still needed its gotta mean the ratings aint right...i can certainly see your point of view from a irritance standpoint though. 2K needs to patch that.

So does this work for computer controlled teams in season/association or do the starters play the whole game because they don't fatigue?
