Exclamation Question for Nogster / Rashidi

Hey now that the "real" 2kInsider is gettign some updates and adding player models, how are you guys going to handle this with your rosters? Will you keep your existing CAP's or will you use the models that 2k officially loads in?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like using theirs would be tough as you would need to download that roster and apply all of your changes instead of just updating your existing custom roster.

Maybe later on when they actually add more than 5 players, but there is absolutely no reason to do so now. I was jotting down their ratings though to see if theres anything worthwhile. That's how I uncovered the cloning of existing scrub players.

Re: Question for Nogster / Rashidi

theres no way im going to wipe over the hours and hours and hours it takes to re edit rosters, just to get a couple of "official" looking players that probably wont even see any crt time..
just because they may have a picture profile?! no chance...

besides, i think portland blazer does a fine job of creating the missing players. even though they wont even see any burn in most cases....

Re: Question for Nogster / Rashidi

i havent checked out the update yet but dont they usually just use a merge of two faces for the players pic and an association rookie for the player model for the added players? why would i need to see a picture that isnt even of the player? anyway what they need to do is add the new players to the cap dna list so we can download individual players rather than having to reset our own rosters to add them. or is that too obvious for 2k to figure out?

Thats a good idea, never even thought of that. They certainly don't have anything limiting them from doing that.

Ding Ding Ding...Its like that was the immediate and obvious thing to do. Even if it was automatic. We all know it can be done because thats the way it works now when we download player DNA right now. UNLESS its coded different somehow?
