It's about where the question leads. Right now there is no real criteria for judging one person's sliders against another. The discussion is totally subjective. Despite this, people will eventually turn it into dogmatic war and disagreements escalate into hyperbole. Now "fill in name's" sliders aren't just a matter of personal preference, they "suck".
Right now we have a productive, appreciative environment, which is important because sliders and ratings are volunteer work. The alternative to a baseless discussion is for people to download the rosters/sliders, try out a few games and see what they like.
Considering how much hard work is put into them, that's the least people can do. If you like the sliders/ratings, show the guy some love, if you don't, try the next set or make some yourself.
For the record, the game plays well with Rashidi's rosters and I haven't tried Nogster's, but intend to.
