Re: Editing Future Rookies in Association Mode

Okay just prior to reading the above comments i ahd completed all but one of my prospects and entered them onto a spreadsheet. Had known the information was already out there i would have done otherwise but, oh well! It didnt take as long as i expected anyway.

The spreadsheet should be attached in a .rar file

Ive inputted all the data as i ahd it in the game, but as mentioned before; the biggest part of the process is find rookies that match appearences of the real life prospects.

We all have to the end of our respective assoication years to complete these attributes so this will be far from the unfinished version. If anyone does wanna check these out please make suggestions, or better yet attach a file with your improvements highlighted.

thanks.

I see you said

But are you sure EVERYONE gets the same generated rookies EVERY time? There might have been identical counterparts in YOUR roster but will those same rooks be on my game?

Re: Editing Future Rookies in Association Mode

Obviously everytime you upload an association the rookies generated are different. But i was just saying that, judging from my photo sources, the players marked had a pretty amazing counterpart likeness.

In reality its up to you to match the players up, i takes a while but its truly worth it, especially when you begin your second season.

I dont know if this is of any help, but when i did mine i browsed by postion, did all the white players first(cause there are less and easy to "get out the way").
I also loaded up a firefox and made about 20 tabs with each players pic and after viewing each generated rookie i just quickly scrolled through them all with teh arrow keys to see if any matched.

btw, are there any suggested improvements for the roster yet?

I would say the dunk ratings are off, but I am a stickler for dunks so don't mind me

Re: Editing Future Rookies in Association Mode

how'd you come up with the potential ratings? i think some of them could be higher..

i'm making another xls file, which is a bit more organized (for me), and has the needed info (hgt, age, accessories except shoes, etc), just so it'd be easier for myself.. and i also added in a couple of players.. i might post it up, is that ok dazpoo23? of course credit would be given..

and last question, does anyone know the AGE of BJ Mullen? i just can't find it anywehere.. thanks!

I disagree. If anything, some should be lower. If you look at the potential ratings of this year's rookies on the game, a large amount of 2nd rounders were in the 50's. Even DeAndre Jordan, who supposed biggest strength was his upside, only has a 59 potential rating. So, if you want things consistent with the rest of the players in the game, i don't think these are too high at all.
