Re: Editing Future Rookies in Association Mode

sorry about that, it starts at 60 because i had about 49 for the 2009 draft spreadsheet so i needed room to start 2010 on the same thing

so i think if you expand cells 1-60 you can get an updated 2009 spreadsheet

so theres 2009 and 2010 in that spreadsheet

Re: Editing Future Rookies in Association Mode

I'm sitting here looking at the spread sheet and the info is great... I just wanted to know does anybody have decent edited prospects that they used to create the 09/10 picks. Ex. What is a good face to use if you was editing a prospect to look like Blake Griffin or Brandon Jennings, DeMar Derozan and so on and so forth?

You need to take the player pictures in the draft & just match them up to real-life picks. I personally use nbadraft.net & draftexpress to get accurate pictures. Keep in mind that some of the actual player pics of the prospects in the game are just replicas of some current NBA players. Example is Tony Parker is pictured for at least 2 prospects from my first year of an association. It's not his real pic but a replica that's exaclty like him.

There are actual pics to match up for most draft prospects. However, they will not match up to their draft status. For example, you're not gonna get actual draft picks of the top 5 to match the mock players drafted. You have to go down in the prospect list to match up a lot of players. That's not a biggy really but you're not gonna have the prospects in the game to match actual mock drafted players. Besides, they at least let us edit these players this year to our liking. Thanks!
BTW, I just wished they'd give us all generic pics of the prospects. This way there would be no look-a-likes to nba players.

Re: Editing Future Rookies in Association Mode

I mean I know all about using the pics from draftnet and I know that the pics are replicated for current players I just wanted to know out of those pictures what faces did some ppl use to closely resemble their 09 rookies.... Like I know none of the generic rookies have a ricky rubio type hairstyle so what generic face have they found that works for him... same with other rookies. For example I used a guy who looked more like raja bell as my brandon jennings... but has anybody used a different face that may work better.

Trust me, there's no real generic prospect face to match Rubio as well as some others. However, there is someone close enough to match about all prospects.

I think a few pages back in this thread that someone posted what generic prospects they used to match certain players but it's been a while I believe. It would take a while to find in this thread but I do believe this was done with a select few guys. Thanks!

You can use the generic face with bushy eyebrows for Rubio, just change his hair to Ilyasova's or Pau Gasol's. To change the hair, you may refer to a tutorial at NLSC forums.

NLCS could stand for a lot of things? If this is a sports forum then you can tell what the initials stand for but no links I believe. Thanks!
