league, crew, basic coop. ive had 10 freezes in a day. its destroying my system and my fun for this game.

i would not only punch them in the face, but their lower region as well... other gamers would not take this from other genres.. its PATHETIC [Reply]

I have to agree with you guys about the 2k server "EPIC FAIL" because that is exactly what it has been since the release of this years title. I didn't spend to much time online with 2k9 but I heard it was the same B.S. I mean... I can play online games such as C.O.D, Madden and other multi-coop games without a problem or at least I can't remember when I have last experienced issues like I am experiencing to date with 2K10.

This is very frustrating for others as well as myself and I'm sure 2k is aware of this and should do more to explain why, what and when something concrete will be posted about the server issue we all are expriencing and yes... F.Y.I... my connection is so top shelf:-) [Reply]

Yeah I agree with the post above. I have games like Call of Duty, Madden, Tiger Woods & Gears of War and they all work absolutely fine online. I have a good internet connection too.

I know we are all beating a "dead horse" regarding this but I still cant get over the fact of how 2K released this game thinking it was actually working ok. The patch list is so long that's its really unbelievable that this many things can be messed up at launch. I understand corporations and maybe they can't say much; however, they should at least put out a small press release acknowledging the problems and saying they will be fixed. The core audience is being ignored.

Furthermore IGN has posted a rather lengthy interview that Ron did with a developer where the developer is talking about how many great things are in the game this year and how great the game is overall. It is the first part of a three series interview yet we can't even get a steady game in online with the team up mode or with my player.

This is two years in a row as far as online is concerned. 2k better wake up before its too late. I'm still somewhat blinded by my love for their previous games so I'm holding out hoping that things will get fixed very soon. [Reply]

As far as my association goes, I'm absolutely in love with this game. Great, great game....OFFLINE.

But the guys in charge of those servers should be covered in honey and buried in an ant hill for allowing this crap to go on for two years.

As others have stated....Call of Duty, NCAA Football, etc...I play tons of games online and most of them are as or more complex than NBA 2k. And yet, NBA 2k is the only game that feels like I'm on "dial up" when I'm playing. Inexcusable, especially considering how online play is becoming so commonplace and such a big part of EVERY game that launches.

Ridiculous 2k. [Reply]

As far as being blinded by the love for 2K's previous games I can surely say that 2K has for the most part done a pretty good job and the majority of gamers tend to agree but I think it's total B.S. for a developer to sit in an interview that will more than likely be read by thousands of gamers and only keep the focus of the interview(s) on the many good things the game has to offer rather than shift the focus to issues they are aware of and are honestly making an effort to address as soon as possible.

I mean... you don't have to be an experienced gamer to pop the game in your tray and know that there are issues that should've been addressed rather than released knowing your going to have to deal with a flood of complaints. Almost ever avenue of this game needs to be looked at and questioned by these same developers, programmers and sport game testers. Afterall... we the consumer are still spending on average... $60 for sport games that are still being released flawed. In no way should you... being a sport gaming developer... have to start a discussion with any community about issues you are already aware of, asking for insite on what issues should be addressed. They(2K) should already have in place a tester team totally dedicated to analysing and pointing out known issues before releasing. Online sport gaming and 2K servers have been a known problem for a couple years now. [Reply]

The only reason I bought NBA 2K10 was the online co-op Association...I hope this patch fixes everything because if I have to wait on a second patch to fix the fact that games don't save in co-op Association after they have been played...well, I guess I will have to wait...I can't get my money back now anyway. Online is just so frustrating...I tried My Player and thought it would be akin to Be A Pro in NHL except with basketball. It has potential but again suffers from the online connectivity. It's unreal there servers are as bad as they are... [Reply]

I picked up this game at Best Buy last week on their 3 for 2 deal, ... it is still in the shrink wrap until they do something before my 30 day return. [Reply]
