League Setup
  • 20 game season
  • 6 playoff teams, top 2 seeds get byes
  • Fantasy draft using either the Eastern or Western Conference
  • ? minute quarters
  • ? sliders
League Rules
  • Be active in this thread and get your games in!
  • Exhibit great sportsmanship.
  • Use a headset. Nobody wants to face somebody in dead silence. Plus if you have to take 5 you can communicate with your opponent.
  • Play the game of basketball, don't play a basketball video game. I don't expect everyone to be experts (I'm not) but I do expect everybody to play a complete game of basketball.
  • You get one warning, I don't think I need to say anything else.
  • I am confident I won't need to say anything else about this.
What I'm thinking about the leage:
  • I'd like to get 3 games/week in. That puts one season at a little over a month.
  • I'm not going to have min/max number of games at the start and see how it goes.
  • 8 members is the MAXIMUM! Nobody else will be invited to the league unless somebody drops!
Fantasy Draft
  • We're going to do it offline in OS Chat. It isn't perfect but it works. We only have 8 people so it should not take too long.
Glad to have everyone on board, let's have a great league this year fellas.

Looks good stew. So what conference are we looking at?

All my teams are in the East so that' what I'm down for, but majority rules and I'll still be happy either way.

Pretty damn excited about this league again Jess. I am curious as to what improvements they have made to the league website. I was pretty happy with last years layout...so anything new bro, just icing.

Why not do the whole NBA?

I've never understood why we only choose one conference. With only 8 teams, everyone is going to have "Dream Teams" anyway. I'd prefer to have the whole league to choose from.

Should be fun.
