Frame rate lag when playing online - NTSC VS PAL

Anyone experience a frame rate lag when playing someone with the PAL video format? I'm from the US and when playing someone from Sweden or Australia, there's a frame rate lag and it's unplayable...messing up your shot release and stuff. I wonder if it's happening on the other side. Will there ever be a fix for this?

I'm a PAL user, but change my 360 regional setting to united states so that i could receive the living rosters and ticker. but i cant get a game online. i am very disappointed.

i will try again but with regional setting back at united kingdom.

I played a guy from the UK this morning - lagged a little whn the court was changing ends, but was OK in each half.

FWIW - 1080P and 720P are refreshed at 60Hz in NTSC and PAL countries, so as long as any PAL users are using a HD resolution you shouldn't see lagging problems due to the 50/60Hz difference between 480 and 576 lines of resolution
