Non Draft Sim League 30 Teams Replacements Needed
if you can follow these simple gameplay rules, then i would like to invite you to a fun sim league
details:
1. hall of fame difficutly
2. 8 min quarters
3. 82 games this league will last a long time
defense:
1. must play on ball at all times, as soon as another player catches the ball you must switch to defend him immediately, no 1-3 second pauses so you dont have to defend catch and shoots
2. zone defense is fine, but you must be controlling the defender closest to the ball, if the ball is throw into another area then you need to switch to the closest defender in that new area.
3. do not constantly reach in for steals
4. do not abuse full court press defense, only use this in realistic situations
5. do not abuse double teaming
offense:
1. 50% of your points can be from the paint, 2nd chance and fast break points are subtracted from the total. at the end of the game if you have 100 points total, 60 points in the paint with 10 fast break points and 20 2nd chance points, then you scored 30 points in the paint and that is below 50% for the game so you are fine
2. you may not average more than 25 3s a game, some games you might go over, but if you are averaging over 25 3s a game, then you will be replaced
3. do not hold turbo all the time on offense
4. do not run around in circles until you finally have the lane to drive
5. do not force your way into the paint for scores
6. no cherry picking, but fastbreaking is allowed at all times, yes this year you need to defend fast breaks after made shots and after missed shots, adjust sliders, put pressure on the guards to slow them down so they cant fast break on you all day. on the other hand do not abuse fastbreaking, dont fast break unrealistically or you are gone
7. use your bench
8. do not average more than 30 shots a game with any one player, do not use one player to score all of your points, this is an automatic drop
activity:
1. 3 to 5 games a week, if you cannot handle this schedule then do not even bother
2. gamers with aim are preferred, it is easier to set up times to play this way
complaints:
only msg me the admin if you have a complaint about a league member
trades:
1. trades will be explained on the forums, in most cases trade points are unnecessary but unfair trades will not be approved
2. each team will have a list of players that cannot be traded, no matter what
example, the spurs will not be able to trade parker, ginobili, bowen, or duncan
