Tonight was good and bad....

1v1

I will say is as silky as I have ever seen it online...I get absolutely zero lag.

5v5

Is the most frustrating thing I have witnessed. It takes about an hour to actually get a good one started with minimal lag. There is always that one idiot who decides to play with a bad internet connection...Why?

Something that could help this is a maximum amount of latency requirement that one could have to play.

Also starting a game is annoying for both. Everytime it says "Connecting to host" it takes 25 seconds to say "Game not available please refer to 2kteam ect."

GOD this needs to get fixed...Online would be awesome.

As far as I'm concerned, whoever coded the online portion is working for EA.

I wish they were - NBA Live's 5-on-5 is reportedly working pretty well.

exactly. Live 09's minimal online lag is the only reason why i haven't returned the copy i rented. i need my 5 vs 5

Nah, nah, what I meant was EA knows how 2k doesn't test for glitches very well, so they payed someone to sneak some stuff in, ya know?

I'm mostly joking, but this kind of stuff does happen in the business world.

Dude its still terrible. I can barely get a game started.

I heard and tried and it kinda works.. to minimize lag turn the 2k sports in game ticker OFF.

tRUST me it will improve the lag.
