HOW TO PLAY ANYONE AT ANYTIME IN A LEAGUE (not tested))

Hey guys i just figured something out. Haven't tried it yet but will try soon.
Ok so this is what you do.

1. Have a schedule generated.
2. Suppose you and another player from the league is online but you don't have a game in this weeks 5 game schedule.
3. You go to the 2k league website. community.2ksports.com (make sure your game is linked to the site, there is another thread on how to do this it's pretty easy)
4. Now both players must go to My Team->Edit Schedule
5. Then both players must remove a game from the que.
6. Then each player must add the other persons team to the Que.
7. You can play eachother.

Not yet been tested.... Someone test and let me know.

It works. Tris10 just implemented this fix for Extreme Sims because I've been bugging him about the lack of flex schedules. It's still kind of a pain, but at least it provides some flexibility.

The issue is that the changes made on the site won't show if either user is logged in on their console -- it would need a hard reset to show in those cases. But that's a minor complaint as long as we aren't on that rigid 5-game 'round' system.

k cool. Thanks for clarifying. Well.. its a pain i guess but if you really want to play someone i guess this can work. Flex schedules would be better though.

This is a test solution for the "flex schedule". And DirkDiggler36 league has this feature turned on. I will give them a few days to test it and if it works , i will allow any league to turn this feature on.

Is this just a temporary solution for now and then flex schedule will be patched in later. Or is it not possible to patch in flex schedule.

Just an update, this appears to be working properly. We had an instance when we played a game that had been moved into the schedule and it didn't register, but that was due to the home team not sending the challenge. So make sure that you notice who is home and act accordingly.

Also, you can check to see if a game is counting by checking the website at the first dead ball -- it will show the box score on the front page (you can keep track of games while they're running, pretty cool) if the game is going to register.
