That's ashame because I was hoping for a 360/PS3 version this year. I would have bought it in a heart beat. I've given up on 2K, they can't seem to make a good baseball game.

Same here man I was so stoked when this game came out got it the first day. Same with the 07 game got it the day it came out. I still play the game. I just hope maybe there will be a 2010 one or something

I was really hoping we would eventually see this game on next-gen. I love the gameplay and find it very challenging. I just cannot seem to get into any other baseball games. I still keep the xbox connected just to play this game. Would have been really nice if they made it backwards compatible, so I could play it on my 360 and finally retire the old xbox. I will keep hope that we will see it on 360 or backwards compatible some day.

I have the 06 version for the PS2. Just for the heck of it-I popped it in the ole PS3. I was impressed on the gameplay. Sure,the graphics aren't that good on a big HD screen,but it serves it's purpose. Kinda like a text based game with images. This game really does play better than the new MLB 2K one on next gen. Now,if 2K took this engine,transpose it to the new systems............I'd buy NCAA in a second also. To have all the teams,like say-college hoops does. crap,that would be sweet.
