Whats so horrible about this game? I'm thinking about purchasing it because im sick of the show. I want the mvp engine back where the ball doesnt go through the bat and it actually matters where the ball hits your bat. 2K7 is jsut like a huge joke for the ps2 and isnt really worth a chance. So im wondering why no one is paying this game? If it is worth playing?

If you dont already own MVP 06 you would probably be better off getting it, because its alot cheaper and from what I hear 07 isnt much different or better.

i had 06 and enjoyed it quite a bit. Playing with two people on the same team was pretty cool, someone pitches and someone fieldss. I enjoy EA's pitching a lot more than any other game. It seems a lot more realistic. Do u know if theres any added teams or stadiums or new gameplay features?

I think the only new gameplay feature is a new way to pitch and I think there are just a few new teams and stadiums but not that many. People say that the rosters are all messed up too.

There are 2 new conferences and a couple of new stadiums. As far as rosters, there are updated rosters at EAmods.com

The new pitching meter is screwed up because you can never reach maximum velocity.

Plus now none of the batting cameras from directly behind the plate actually show the plate, so you have to keep the strike zone on if you want a point of reference.

EA gutted the development team worse than the 97 Marlins, or so I hear.

The game is good. Theres nothing wrong w/getting it. Try o6 for the xbox for less $$

good game. good engine. you need to remember it is not pro and you will not have the offense you have in the pros. you need to manufacture runs. some of your players will just suck and you will need to recruit better ones.

overall, buy 06 if you want to save money, 07 was just a piss-poor roster update with a couple of added features. they did not change the roster ratings, they simply took the team rated 1st in the nation from 06 and made it the roster for the team that was ranked 1st in 07 and on down the line.
