A nifty little detail I've NEVER seen before

I've played countless number of games and have never seen this... This is MVP 06 by the way...

I'm pitching... The CPU has two pitchers in the pen which is along the third baseline... The hitter hits a grounder foul towards the pen... I hear Mike Patrick say: "Rutgers has two pitchers warming up" as the camera cuts away to show the pitchers warming up, and what do I see??? Yes, the foul ball go trickling by.

It's one thing I've liked very much about MVP is the stadiums and environments. Sure, McCovey Cove in 2005 didn't exist, but beyond that the sense of immersion has been very good... Especially with the light in the sky changing color since 06.

Re: A nifty little detail I've NEVER seen before

I've been playing MVP since 2003. I was playing MVP 07 tonight and recorded my first triple play in over 4 years of playing this series. I was ASU playing at Arizona. Bases loaded, nobody out. Arizona hits a line drive up the middle and it bounces off my pitcher's face (he had to leave the game with a broken jaw). The ball flew up in the air and my SS caught right near 2nd base. The runners never appeared to see what was happening. I stepped on 2nd base and then threw to First base and recorded 3 outs. Amazing. Mike Patrick almost blew his load. He said "and the Sun Devils record a triple play to get out of the inning...unbelievable".

Re: A nifty little detail I've NEVER seen before

I have come nowhere near a triple play... I haven't even thought about a triple play...

Hey... This series used to be called Triple Play!
