Question About New Recruits

Hello.

Does anyone know if pitching recruits are still all glitched when they join your team? In '06 it is not unusual to get a new pitcher who throws his 4-seamer at 83mph, his 2-seamer at 97mph, his slider at 91mph with a 12-6 trajectory, and a curve at 82mph with a 10-4 trajectory. Obviously, this is wrong. Because I love playing repeated seasons in the same dynasty, this causes me a lot of grief and I was just wondering if the problem has been fixed with '07.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Question About New Recruits

Me and a few others mentioned this in the bug/wishlist thread last year. It has not been fixed...

They also did not fix baserunning so you could get a different size lead with one runner when you have more than one on base. I hate getting picked off of 3rd base because I have a big lead trying to steal 2nd in a 1st and 3rd situation.

This is the same as having a minor league system that does not progress. Why bother having Dynasty modes if the players 5 years from now are irrelevent? We end up playing one season and buy next years game. Come to think of it, thats what they want us to do. Great marketing, poor execution.

Re: Question About New Recruits

At least this year you can create players during your dynasty (pretty sure that couldn't be done last year), and you can always edit those incoming recruits to reflect realistc MPHs.

Yes, and that is exactly what I do with '06. I tediously go through and edit every pitcher for my team and every team I play against. I put up with it because I do enjoy the game and love the game mechanics, it just sucks and I was hoping it had been fixed. Might have given some thought to buying '07 if it had.
