For those of you playing the game...

First off, I probably wouldn't have bought it because of all the mess. However, My fiancee got it for me for Valentines day so I am playing it.

Anyway for anyone else out there playing it. How are you doing? I played one exihibition game and then started a dynasty with the Citadel. I am 1-3 so far. I was up by 3-5 runs in 2 of the games and was like no big deal and then they made me pay. I am coming along with the hitting. I have hit a few HRs, amybe 4 or 5. Atleast 3 of them was without power which is alwasy cool. Anyway still a fun game in general.

Overall I like it even though the roster hurt bad because I can't play with Clemson and D'lo, Harbin, Chalk, Hogan and well you get the idea. Anyway how is everyone else liking it?

no bro,I am playing it as well,but only exhibition games.the game plays just like last season,so its good for me cuz I like last season,now only if i could get it on the 360 or ps3 with HD graphics,would play it a lot more,but am playing this on the ps3..till 2k7 and the show drops...its a good change of pace,flat out love the "PING" of the bat

I have the game and really enjoy it. The rosters are a problem but im not a huge follower of college baseball anyway so it doesnt matter as much to me. I love the gameplay and I am currently playing it on my ps3 and it looks great of course i cant play it on my 360. Good game of baseball. PING!

Does anyone have a setting for getting the cpu to strikeout more as I usually only get 1 or 2 strikeouts a game? Thanks.

I'm enjoying it. Played aboout 10 games so far. The way they messed up the rosters is sick, but I had fun recreating Rice with all the current contributors. I've noticed a couple of things here and there that seems like they might've been tweaked with a bit (in a good way), but maybe I'm just imagining things. I've played some good games so far. A little disappointed with the last one, a close game in the 7th when it froze! First freeze I ever recall, I'm pretty sure it was a fluke. But I'm getting into the pitching a little more, and the default settings for "Junior" level (used to be All-american i think), are playing great on all fields. For all the negative things we have said about EA's way of butchering the franchise, this remains the best pure baseball game out there right now. I like The Show, but to me, the mental battles you go through with L+F batting are what make the game stand out.

This game is really a great game. I'm even walking batters on meter pitching 2-3x! I'm not a college fan but I love playing baseball and this game makes every at bat an adventure. You really have to concentrate on contact instead of hitting HR's like MVP05. A successful hit and run is as exciting as a HR! The hit variety is surreal. Too bad we can't get this in a MLB game which I prefer playing. Also, If you choose a C or D rated team, you really struggle to win games. Its a dog fight.
