NoSkillz50 AA Sliders (L&F)

I've noticed lots of sliders here either too easy or based off zone hitting or classic hitting or in some cases just too arbitrary for me so I decided to make my own. I've just adjusted everything up or down pretty much by 5 until I got everything like I wanted it. They are pretty well rounded if you want to finely tune them yourself, they aren't all specifically set down to 1 point so you don't have to worry about throwing anything off as much if you just think one or two things need to be changed. I like how they are right now, so unless somebody wants to suggest something I'll probably post one thats more precise later if I find anything noticably wrong.

Game Options
Fielding: Manual
Baserunning: Assisted
Strike Zone: On
Hot/Cold Zones: Fade
Pitch Cursor: Off
Hitters Eye: On
Catch Circle Assist: On
Vector Line: On
Variable Strike Zone: On
Variable Stuff: On
Blown Calls: On
Vibration: On

Gameplay Tuning
User Pitch Meter Difficulty: -50 (even at -50 I still think you have too much command over some of the poorly rated pitches)
Pitch Speed: 5 (slightly more challenging than 0)
CPU Pitcher Ball Rate: 10 (college hitters dont walk a ton, but the pitchers still throw alot of balls)
User Pitcher Fatigue: -5 (almost nescesary with foul ball frequency turned all the way up and pitch meter diff. all the way down)
CPU Pitcher Fatigue: 5 (they just leave their pitchers in about an inning too long, ball rate is turned up so I think 5 about covers it)
User Pitch Control: -35 (so even when you time the meter right you still might miss, indirectly gives the pitchers ratings a little bit more of a role aswell)
CPU Pitch Control: -15 (just so they can't pitch on the corners or in the zone completely at will)
Bullpen Fatigue Rate: 0
Bullpen Fatigue Grace: 0
User Batting Contact: 5 (I think there needs to be a little bit more hitting for a college game)
CPU Batting Contact: 0
User Batting Power: -5 (there is just a bit too many homeruns for a college game, but at the same time i dont want to lower the number of hard hit balls in general too much)
CPU Batting Power: -5 (thinking about moving this down a little more and cpu contact up a bit)
User Bunting Ability: 0
CPU Bunting Ability: -5 (make them see a bit more human when it comes to bunting)
User Foul Ball Frequency: 50 (seems good for now but I don't have a good feel for this slider yet)
CPU Foul Ball Frequency: 50
CPU Swing Frequency: -15 (need more strike outs looking and they never walk, but I don't want them to take too many strikes either, this number seems just about right)
Analog Swing Timing Normal: 0
Analog Swing Timing Power: 0
Analog Swing Timing Contact: 0
Wind Effect: 0
User OF Speed (Manual): 0 (i know they run slow, but its hard to run full speed in the real-life and if you do you might miss, thats what the hussle button is for and I think EA did a good job with this giving outfielders adequate range)
CPU OF Speed: 0 (seems about right, they run alot of good stuff down but i also get alot of bloopers to drop, i think the cpu of should be able to move the same speed as the human of too)
User IF Speed (Manual): -5 (pretty realistic so far imo
CPU IF Speed: -5
User Throw Speed: -5
CPU Throw Speed: -5
User Throw Accuracy: -5
CPU Throw Accuracy: -10 (the computer is a little too good at making perfect throws)
User Catch Errors: 15
CPU Catch Errors: 25
User Dive Difficulty: 0
User Hustle Boost: 0
CPU Catch Effort: -10 (more hits through the infield and less diving plays in the OF, the cpu catch errors helps with their diving catches too so i didn't want to set this too high)
User Baserunning Speed: 0 (not so much my speed but the cpu's deadly throws)
CPU Baserunning Speed: 0
User Runner Aggression: 5
CPU Runner Aggression: 5
User Runner Steal Speed: 5
CPU Runner Steal Speed: -5 (to make throwing out base stealers a bit easier)
User Runner Steal Delay: -5
CPU Runner Steal Delay: 5
CPU Steal Rate: 50 (i wish i could turn this to 1,000... right now I can't really get anybody to steal, how many times they steal seems so random to me, might want to turn this down if they are attempting more than 4 or so steals a game)
Runner Injury Frequency: 0
Pitcher Injury Frequency: 0
Batter Injury Frequency: 0
Fielder Injury Frequency: 0
Pitching MG Difference: 0

Re: NoSkillz50 AA Sliders (L&F)

I'm trying to adjust the batting right now. I think -5 is good for power, there are about 2-3 homeruns a game, I actually beat the computer most of the time in that catagory. What do you guys think is good batting and contact. I'm trying out +7 contact and -3 for the CPU, and I'm gonna move the batting power to only -2 or 3 because most of the homeruns are gone by a mile anyways I've really noticed, if I put the power sliders up a bit I think it will be fine, maybe get a few more doubles deeper in the gap I'm not thinking it will change the homerun total.

Most of the other ones I don't think need much changing, I think I might adjust the inf speed 1 or 2 points faster and other than that I can't think of anything right now besides maybe tweaking use fatigue and cpu swing freq.

Hey man, just wanted to say I am really liking your sliders. Have played about 10 games with them so far. They make the game a total blast for me. Good job man..

Re: NoSkillz50 AA Sliders (L&F)

Thanks. Does anybody else have any comments suggestions? They're working for me as good or better than any other slider's ive tried so far. i actually get about the same results with footballfanforevers sliders, but i made my own because i wanted to fix the same problems, but i wanted the computer to also be about the same as me, with othersliders i did something better than the computer or the computer did something better than me. u cant really get rid of that, but i tried to balance the game without exaggerating that issue any more than it had to be.

hitting is the only area where i often adjust the sliders by 1,2 or 3 points. 1 point is 1% of a slider and im not sure anybody really understands exactly what an effect 1 point has, hitting is the only one i feel its easy to see results so thats the only ones im really messing with. the others are just fixing basic things here and there.

ill post my final conact/power numbers sometime soon
