Getting CPU to throw more "Balls"

Sometimes the sliders are counter intuitive so I'm wondering if anyone has been successful in getting the CPU to throw more "balls"?

Raise the CPU pitcher ball rate. In MVP '05, I believe that slider set at "8" yielded excellent results. Might be a decent starting point, anyway.

I lowered the cpu pitch control to -35 and have cpu ball rate at 10.Was walking 3-4 times a game last night with those settings.
