Analog hitting power/contact slider

Do you guys think you should move the slider into the positive to make it easier or into the negative to make it easier? I'm sorry, but the direction to move sliders aren't always intuitive to me.

By putting it into the positive, it will give you more power and better contact. Negative makes it more difficult.
