2007 NCAA ROSTERS

I would really like to get some 2007 rosters, and i read through some of the threads and sounds like there is a good base roster out there, and i want some rosters bad enough that if i could get a good base roster from someone, i would do them myself. And yes, i would post them on here, i would want to show off my work. If anyone is interested in helping me out with this, post back. Thanks, Go Illinois State Baseball!!!

No, I hav'nt tried it. I have always stayed away form there. I usually go with rosters from guys that post on here, They do good work. Are these rosters good?? Because if they are a decent set and could help me out alot, i could get going on these and have a pretty good roster set before the draft, or before.

Re: 2007 NCAA ROSTERS

I bought rosters on ebay. The names were done for each team. This helps, but the rosters I bought are far from being good. At the time I bought them, I didn't realize how bad they were.

I was so disappointed with MLB 2K7, I turned to playing NCAA MVP 07. I own a PS3. The rosters I bought about 2 mos. ago need a ton of work. 95% of the names are done correctly and the person who did the work put a fair amount of work into it. The problem is, he just stopped there.

Since then, I have methodically gone through all the Pac-10 teams (actually on 9 b/c Oregon doesn't have a baseball program); Tennessee, Miami (FL), UNC, GT, FSU, San Diego, Temple, Hawaii, and Penn St so far and corrected everything. It's incredibly time consuming. Some days, I feel like quitting on this roster project. Then I play a game, and my work pays off.

Here's what I revamped based on visiting each school's baseball website:

1) Appearance - (skin color, facial hair, uniform style, batting stance, wrist bands, shin guards - I look at tons of photos from each team's website).

2) Abilities - I've gone onto each team's website and printed out the stats for each player and change the ratings for each player to match. I test each team in several games to work it out the best I can.

3) Ratings - I use several NCAA Baseball national statistics leaderboards so that the best players (and worst) are represented well.

Two problems though:
1) I've only completed 13 teams so far. It takes a lot of time to do this. So, these won't be completed for a long, long time.

2) I own a PS3 and I bought the ebay rosters + memory card in PS2 format. I can save them but I can't copy the files back to the PS2 memory card.

I'd post what I've done, but I don't know how to do it. I am not sure how to extract the files from my PS3 (internal PS2 memory card) and post them here. Sorry. If somebody cares to give me very descriptive directions how to do it w/o much effort on my part, I'd do it. Good luck.

Re: 2007 NCAA ROSTERS

Yeah, i got a roster set from psxsports.com, and i think it might be the same roster set you got from ebay. Alot of the names were done, but it was still messed up. Matt LaPorta was rated in like the low 70's, and i know he is not that low. I seen him play, and his numbers he put up in the past means hes higher than that, lol. I just got the rosters last night, and i have done nothing but mess with them since. I corrected the whole Illinois team(because im from there) and have started on the top players in the nation from each team. As long as the best players are correct, thats a good start for me. It sounds like you have alot done on your rosters, and i would love to use them, but maybe if i needed roster help, maybe i could ask you for the ratings from teams and players you have currently done. It does take up alot of time, but i would like to have a decent set done by the time the draft and the college world series starts. Well im off to edit some more players, lol, Thanks for your help.
