PS2 Action Replay MAX disc read error help

i downloaded the MAX drive '05 rosters and put them on my USB port, plugged it into the front of my PS2, then when I put in the action replay disc in the tray and loaded it, it wouldnt load and it said disc read error. i have no problems at all with regular games or dvds or anything so im wondering why this isnt working...i really want to use the downloaded rosters ahh

any help is appreciated

I've had similar issues with my Sharkport disc. I'll either keep rebooting until it reads it, go into the browser then load the disc, or just wait 10 minutes and try again.

It always works just sometimes it takes longer than others

alright thanks ill try that, but my ps2 makes clicking sounds too only when i put in the AR disc
