to edit names:
-creation center
-create-a-player
-edit player

i'd suggest turning music to 0, otherwise every time you click on a player to edit you'll get that ea trax reminder of what's currently playing (seemed to mess me up). rosters are pretty acurate from last year, so it's just a matter of changeing the class of the curent players, and turning seniors into 'same size/positon' freshman(can edit class but not height/weight). you can also trade players from one team to another(i think, didn't actually try this just saw it avaible), i guess it's a left-over from mvp 05. so say you have a 6'5 player on one team, maybe trade with a team that happens to need him for the 5'8 guy you need.
