An open invitation for Xbox Live players.

After playing about 140 Dynasty games against the CPU on MVP, I have decided to test out the online play. So, who here wants to take on me and my Hokies? Of course, I will ask that this game be unranked, with MVP 2005 style batting, but analog fielding and everything else standard (as in, no H&C zones or pitch icon). I don't have a mic though, so you won't get to hear my infinite wisdom? I am a straight player, who would rather lose 8-0 fairly than win 14-2 by using cheap tactics.

So, any takers? I don't really like hopping on the servers and playing annonymous people who wanna throw nothing but curveballs down and away. My gamer tag is Pierre LaFoon, leave me yours, and a time you could play, and I'll be there. Beware my D- rated Hokies!

Heh, thanks san.

We should get in another game too sometime... maybe sometime the next couple nights.

Notice KU is winning a few games in baseball early in the season..

Sounds like a plan to me, I should be on tonight. I see you everyonce in a while on NBA 2k6. Is that for regular xbox or the 360?

yeah team sounds like it playing well. beating some ranked teams.

I cant wait to see it for myself. I watched the Miami vs Florida came on Fox Sports the other night, and i have the baseball bug again.

Re: An open invitation for Xbox Live players.

I jumped on my Xbox last night to get onto XBL and add some of you, but for some reason, it won't let me connect. I have no trouble connecting with my 360 though. Anyone know if you can transfer your Xbox Live account from your 360 to your regular Xbox?

I figured it out now. I'll add you guys to my friends list. Again, post some times you're usually on, and I'll see if I can jump on and play.

You have to use load and fire hitting when playing online.

Re: An open invitation for Xbox Live players.

No, you don't. You need to use it for Ranked games. Unranked games, you can use whatever you want.

And I was reminded tonight why I don't play online sports games. My very first game, I played someone with a 60-58 record, who was using Michigan State, and after beating them 3-1 somehow (I had no clue on how to use Load and Fire), the guy texted stuff like "usuck" and "learntohit". Funny, this guy has played 110+ more online games than me, LOSES to me, and tells me I suck? Yeah, ok.
